Why do yo think when I talk about taxes, I simply say lets not tax this. Tax that over there. Can we do that? or maybe establish a new source of revenue. and lets try to keep this all low and fair to everyone. The peoples prosperity is based on ownership and decision about that ownership in their minds.

If you're blaming your (financial?) problems or the overall state of the US on "the illegals" I think you're wrong.

I don't think that the number of illegals and the problems caused by them are more than a drop in the water, compared to other issues and problems.

The illegals are NOT the reason your HC system is all screwed where a CAT scan costs $7k etc..etc..

Blaming problems on a particular group == naive. While illegals ARE indeed *one* problem, I think it pales on the background of other things.

Your thread title makes it sound as if illegals are one major reason about the state of your health care. SERIOUSLY....no.

Larger states and more laws do not remedy any issue and have only served to stifle freedom and turn everyone into slaves with no options.

Hey, I did post an interesting statics website on Illegal Immigration. Very disturbing. If the Knucklehead that disagrees with me went to LA County, and saw what goes on there, Well I am sure he would sing a different tune and it goes on day in and day out. We have Millions of illegals here, and he does not thing that that contributes in any way shape or form to medical cost...ROFL.More than 7% of the population in CA is Illegal for gosh sake. Heck all you have to do really is go look at your local tax reports and local news. Keeps your opinions factual and modest. You'll know where your taxes go. At least in Texas. You guys will have to excuse me if I do not personally publish those to the entire world; frankly its none of their damn business.

I can tell you, I'd rather if I had the choice, pay a flat tax across the state, and not pay anything more than a sales tax after that. Then have the state divvy up that 10% and those S&U revenues for services. Which means we ALL operate on a flat fixed budget. No more, no less. At that point, the well is dry, quit trying to pump. NO liens, no suing, no warrants for not paying when you LITERALLY CANT.

I can tell you right now, taxes are not uniform nor fair ANYWHERE, on any level if they are taxing because EVERYTHING is taxed. And you guys, on with the immigration. If you keep on about it, you're going to be taxed for all the stuff you're complaining about. Nothing is free.

I agree with your post. It would be even better if our government actually didn't give such easy access for illegals to cross our borders at all. They need to shut down the borders and then start deporting those who are here illegally. These people need to come here through the legal channels and become citizens. Illegal is illegal no matter how anyone tries to downplay it.

As far as the OP goes it is very easy for someone to write exempt on their w-4 and not have any taxes taken out of their checks. They may face IRS "action" but the IRS would have a hell of time finding them to recoup the tax money owed.

There are legals that work the system by using fake IDs that make them appear to be illegals.

I know a couple of these legals with Hispanic names that get free health care by gaming the system.

I also know of a few Russians that immigrated legally that play the same game.

I wasnt attacking you, nor have i ever complained about checkpoints. Get a grip! This country has a serious problem with people being here illegally. Taking advantage of our systems, committing crimes and not being held accountable. The borders can be managed more efficiently and more cost effectively by a largely unmanned system with the occasional recon on an as needed basis, the government just has to put it in place and let border patrol and the other authorities manage it in a less than bleeding heart mannor. I for one am fine if i knew my tax dollars were being used for such purposes, i have no problems with paying a luttle more now instead of my children paying a lot more down the road for something the government should have taken care of a long time ago.

Public hospitals are currently free for Australian citizens here. But they deliberately make the service a poor standard to justify why people should pay for a normal (private) system.

They also take money out of your tax return if you don't have private health insurance to try and show people why they "need it".

Hate to say it, but we will be just like the US if those at the top of the medical industry have their way.

I know you may not like what I am about to say....

But if you want to really see who is abusing the system, look the other way.

Look past the so called "illegals" (god I hate that stupid term, and it makes people who use it sound stupid too). How on earth did health care become so expensive?, that would be a good direction to gander, why is it like getting a lawyer?, as in no guarantee of performance by anyone but you?.

There are way bigger problems than "illegals" with this messed up system, a lot of problems, and people make the mistake of looking the wrong direction for someone to blame frequently.

One of the biggest problems with EVERYTHING is insurance, but it isn't insurance so much as people refusing to accept responsibility for their own lives and actions and sometimes that they cannot afford to, but there are myriad other problems......

It just goes on and on....

Most illegals don't pay taxes, they claim deductions for 11 kids they dont have and pay nothing, seen it too many times to count. the reason why illegals benefit so much for free and are allowed to just walk into the country with no consequence and almost zero threat of deportation is that Obama HATES America,he won't even say the pledge of allegiance. Obama is a traitor, pure and simple, he is against America and Americans, he is pro illegal immigration and refuses to guard the border,illegally.

And some of those immigrants also collect a "refugee" stipend, a type of welfare. The US has no problem helping others out, just not those who are already in the system. When is the last time you were offered an interest free loan to start a business?

So are you telling me that the illegal family pays enough in taxes to pay for any of the services they use? They have 'big' families and while the kids more or less go to school on average they do not do very well and the dropout rate is horrifying.

Their pitiful sales tax is not even a drop in the bucket.

They want the cheap labor to pad their portfolios and want everyone else to pay for their healthcare, welfare, food etc.
I talked to some people that worked on Wall Street on another forum and they were perfectly fine with the influx of cheap labor.
They said American's are paid to much because there are people that can do it cheaper.

I don't know how these people can sleep at night making millions while they throw their own countrymen under the bus.

The Preamble of the Constitution states that the government is supposed to provide for the defense and welfare of the nation.

Most illegal immigrants don't pay federal taxes because they don't make enough money, add in children as deductions also.
That makes them just like half of Americans citizens.
