My new 24/7 minecraft survival server

Well, I just brought a minecraft server with 2 gb ram and


it´s a simple survival server.. no one is getting special treatment, even myself..
It´s a fresh world with a seed called "inferno"




If I will ever use admin rights it will be to ban people that destroy other people creations.. so behave, pvp is allowed if agreed on both sides.

I would give it a try... but the new 1.7 update is terrible... the world has far too many mountians...

Perhaps you might consider making a modded server?

Find a local company in your phone book... or run one from a decently strong PC

What are your restrictions?I'd consider allowing my 11 year old on it as long as its a 'safe' environment, ie no kiddie pervs

It's been awhile since I last played Minecraft, but I was on your server for awhile yesterday and likely will be at times in the next few weeks. I was testing a couple graphics mods and the game feels almost new again.

If you want a great family server for your kid to play, go to cookie cartel. It is super safe, I play there with my son all the time.

For some reason, there seems to be all Danish people on here, and are pretty rude to non Danish people. Not sure what that is about.

Mind if I ask a question? My son is asking me to purchase him his own server. I have been hesitant, because I don't know enough about it. What would be the purpose of having your own server?

That depends on how you go about doing it...

There are lots of companies that host servers for games... they range from about 20$ a month all the way up the scale depending on how many people you plan on having on said server

IF you have a decently powerful computer you can host it yourself.... When you buy a MC account it also gives you access to MC server as well... so you don't actually have to buy hosting time from a company if you have the means...

You'll need quite a bit of RAM to host a decently fast server though
