Cosmic posts appearing in recent posts tab

Is there any way to prevent 'cosmic' posts appearing in the recent posts tab for members with access only to regular forums?

Not that its a great problem, i'm just sick of clicking on interesting sounding threads only to discover a few seconds later that i can't view them.
