Apparently thats definition is on the verge of changing. And who cares if it does? Marriage is not under 'assault' from the possibility of gay marriage. Divorce 'destroys' the majority of marriages out that, around 51% is the number I have heard, the majority. If there is going to be some 'protect marriage' ammendment, it should make divorce illegal, but people don't want that, because then they'd be inconvenienced, unlike the gay marriage situation, where its someone else's problem. Apathy is a much greater cause of 'social decay', and your apathetic reaction to gays being forbidden, even if a state allows it, is indicative of the problem.

So, is this the precise, and specific definition IN FULL? I am wondering if you could please lay out in complete detail, with legitimate sources of reference, exactly what the TRUE definition of marriage is? Make sure and include all of the parameters, like when should we consider a girl to be of age to marry? What races are allowed to marry? etc.

Maybe if we know ALL of the who, what, when, where, why and how, of your definition of marriage, it will make more sense and seem somewhat more legitimate to those of us currently baffled by your arguments.

It is a horribly funny idea that people find sanctity in marriage, heterosexual or homosexual. How can marriage be sacred to anyone in an age where 1 out of 2 marriages end in divorce and serial monagamy runs rampant? How sacred is it to have a marriage to anyone that will probably be tainted by adultery? Even worse is to marry and divorce numerous times. I don't think people in general pay attention to the world around them, it's seems to be a general apethetic notion to follow those who are the majority just because there is more of them.
