So long as there are enough amateur UFO detectives out there making bold statements like HOAX!!! HOAX!!! based on nothing more scientific than having spent years trawlling Youtube for UFO footage to examine with a magnifying glass, the Military could fly whatever they want across London Bridge or the New York skyline and enough idiots would jump out and call it CGI, if filmed, or mass hysteria or a pigeon if it wasnt. The military must rub their hands in glee!!

Except the assumption is that we are the risk.

The government would be far more concerned that other governments could verify footage IMO, and they do have the maths to do that.

If it is a hoax, the hoaxer should be earning a fortune in Hollywood.

Adding a couple of objects moving in a straight line and a flashing red light does not make you a notable visual effects artist.

From the youtube description of the 2 planes and triangle object

This sensational video was filmed by a couple that wants to remain anonymous.

From the 2 helicopters and saucer youtube description

It was sent to us by an anonymous source.

It's always the way isn't it!

Take a look at the rest of looknowtv's videos on his/her youtube channel.......poor, poor CGI attempts.....guys an obvious hoaxer looking for clicks on his/her adsense ads.

I can't argue that it is odd how in both videos the person video taped wanted to remain anonymous. But if you had recorded those videos yourself, would you want everyone to know who you are? Your employer, the government? I doubt it. I still agree with you that these could definitely by a hoax, I merely posted the video to start a discussion, I am far from an expert. I always find the best answers come from feedback. Thanks.

Sure I would. Of course I would not jump up and post a triangle shaped airplane video titled as a UFO.

Nor would I post a blatant CGI hoax either.

Anonymous youtube videos have ZERO credibility. Waste of time really.

I doubt if Governments would be overly concerned about what other Governments would or wouldn't glean from such footage, I would suspect that governments of the major western powers know more top secret intelligence on each other than the citizens of their own countries.
I think the only real concern would be mass hysteria!!
Im sure that adding a couple of objects moving in a straight line does not require technical genius, however, my tongue in cheek aside was to demonstrate that some skill is required and most of us do not possess it.
Quite apart from that, the flashing light wasn't red which indicates that either your powers of observation are pretty poor or you couldnt be bothered to pay attention to something you have decided to comment upon.
Either way..........

When you consider how many people have been mocked for coming out and stating that they have witnessed an encounter of some description it would be no suprise whatsoever if somebody wished to remain anonymous, I know I would.
In saying all of that, yes, the chances are pretty strong for the footage to be a hoax.
Proof would be nice though.

That's possible, but I don't believe it's likely that every government on the planet knows about these things in depth.

You could learn how to make these videos in less than a day.

Quite apart from that, the flashing light wasn't red which indicates that either your powers of observation are pretty poor or you couldnt be bothered to pay attention to something you have decided to comment upon.

Your rapier like wit wounds me!

Or maybe, prior to using hyperbole about my observational abilities you should consider the fact that you claimed moving objects in a straight line and making blinking lights equate to making loads of money in Hollywood. The discussion we're having has nothing to do with my observational abilities and everything to do with your lack of understanding of logistics and skill levels in post production. I don't believe anything you said was tongue in cheek regarding this.

I believe you're using excuses and misdirection (my tendency to assume all blinking lights are red in my mind and the idea of joking) to pretend you didn't mean something blatantly false. More people have visual effects and post production skills than ever and you should learn about it if you're at all serious about looking at video footage.

I hear this all the time from people on this site when they see a youtube video. "It's a hoax". How can you back up this claim? Please do so.

In this video, a New Jersey couple records what looks like two military airplanes escorting another plane/UFO. This was filmed in August of 2013. Not sure if there is another thread discussing this already, if so please let me know. The couple said that the object was moving faster in real life before they started filming, in fact it was so fast they had trouble finding it in the sky. Could be a Stealth B2, or maybe a new drone plane? What do you think?

Oh thats just ol "Darth" being escorted in from the mother ship to an important meeting with the world bankers and the like.
