SETI astronomer predicting Alien contact by 2025

Not sure I agree with Seth Shostak on his dismissal of interstellar travel,because he seems to be assuming that other civilizations have not figured out much more advanced propulsion systems systems than ourselves,and that is limited in that IF other ET races do exist(which he obviously believes they do),that they may not be hundreds or thousands of years ahead of us in technology.

Still,it's interesting to hear a spokesperson for the normally conservative SETI crew making contact date predictions...
