This thread is aimed at the young, the old, and in between. The purpose is to acquaint you with a subtle yet powerful shaper of your mind.
The very basis of your world is a product of much scientific social engineering funded and supported by the elite .......

At the end of the 19th century, the science of social engineering was founded and funded by such fortunes as that of the Fords, The Rockefellers, The Harrimans, The Kelloggs.......the wealthy industrialists of the times....
Certain scientific theories were developed over time to explore the mechanisims of how organisms learn, grow, and develop their intelligences and reactions to stimuli.

Plants, bugs, animals, and finally humans were subjected to mazes, electrical shocks, and hundreds of other stimuli to determine principals by which their behavior could be modified or controlled......
The aim of such modifications were always and constantly centered upon such aims as productivity, malleability, (as in interchangeability)
And of course personal docility.

The bloated rich of the 19th century society in other words, had the means to subvert the very underpinnings of the ancient ways and customary behaviors of humankind.

This brings me to the video which explains so much of how your very life is influenced and CONTROLLED by the results of the revolution in human management, with this thrust of the elite sponsored direction we have taken.
Not to be approached lightly, this full length two hour feature documentary may change your perceptions of yourself, your past, and possibly (I think definitely...) your future and your sanity......The sanity and happiness of your offspring as well hangs in the balance........................

The need for a rethink of all you've been taught, as well as "taken for granted" as the basis of your world views is made very plain
in the course of taking the time to examine this instructive and illustrative film.
But be open to the destruction of your world, in order that you can reconstruct it with humanity.

APPOLOGIES(my link doesn't work)
go to Youtube and search( Human Resources:Social Engineering in the Twentieth century....) its available to rock your personal world....

I guarantee you.............

And of course this huge obstacle is counted on by them to protect their deceit. In this world where the individual is hyped as the ultimate form of human development, most of the folk who think themselves individual are not about to consider the possibility that who and what they think they are is, if nothing more, a product of social engineering.

You give WAY too much credit to these families.... Do you realize how many millionaires there are in the world???

10 nations with highest number of millionaires

Just in that one source alone, there are over 10 MILLION millionaire HOUSEHOLDS. Do you really think that a handful of people hold that much influence over MILLIONS of people? Not likely....

Now take a look at the Bloomberg BILLIONAIRE list - Bloomberg Billionaires

Where do the people you mentioned above rank on THAT list??? hmmm.....don't seem to really be there.

Oh My!

Please no more vid from YT! Keep watching them and you will Be Led!

I did like the Title though! Everything has shaped me to what ever I am now. Hell, one could blame it on cartoons, my parent's and while I was in school. Always being told How To Be, do this or this is fact, never go here, there or do many of the things I was told Not to do! Next is what you watch or read, feed your head into believing what you just done.

Everyday you either get played or your doing the playing. We all do this really. Only one day, you hit your head, life tosses out the Big Ball and you come to grips with Reality. Then you start to question everything in your head, life and the everyday crap that somehow just tags along. While your doing that, the world is going down the rabbit hole!

Yet we are told to be nice, have good thoughts and do good things! Yet nobody considers going mid-evil! Not the crazy all out getting a gun crap; do yourself if it's that bad! Why take another? What I'm taking about is what they do not Want you to do. I start Using Your Head! Start thinking for yourself! Get out the evil and start questioning what is actually in your Head!

Mod's; might be somewhat off topic. Powers that may be have played out this stuff way to long, and we buy into it! Yet the question was asked. No I do not know Who I Am!

Too busy trying to find out the crap I was led to believe in the first place!

Peace

Most societies are not unlike large scale mass Pavlovian conditioning.

Whilst constructs, ideals and rules are essential to a constructive, functioning society, the apparently self gratifying, selfish and perhaps unscrupulous nature of some of the conditioning and those controlling it, leaves little to be desired for long term societal order and happiness.

The conditioned might bite back if treated harshly.

The OP is not about the power of millionaires at the beginning of the 21st century. It is about the power of the industrial tycoons 150 years ago. They financed the infancy of psychology and the social sciences. While most Americans paid no attention to these schools of study, the financiers did and learned how to control people not by force alone but by seeing that the common people themselves grew up and developed in a manner conducive with the plans of these social elite. And even today, so many of us cannot even begin to think about it, as the OP points out.

Bingo, Terry. After all, where does grant money for research come from? Sure, some comes from federal and state entities but it also comes from industries and private individuals/entities/special interests that will sometimes chip in as well. I've actually written a few grants and a family member is a grant writer.

I have more to add but my viewing of the documentary was interrupted. I've had to take organizational behavior for my degree in Business Administration and up til the 40 minute point, where I had to stop, much of it is pretty much exactly what we were taught.

It's not always about actually listening to one's employees. It's making them feel like their opinions are being heard. Yadda yadda yadda. Even down to the suggestion boxes. Have a few comments on the alternative though as that may not be quite as effective as it would seem as it sounded like they were referring to flat organizations.

Will chime in some more here for sure tomorrow after I finish watching it.

Social engineering has been going on for thousands of years. It is not new. They aren't that much better at this now than they were two thousand years ago....and that flopped.

Im sorry Ricky M, but i beg you to re read the above posts of Terry Maguire and white Alice......this stuff is what makes up the deep conditioning that governs our behaviors.....Patriotism, Productivity,Ambition,(or lack of it), the way we treat others, countless facets of your personality are ingrained from birth.....
What the wealthy industrialists of the time did was fund the scientists who created these monstrous conditioning programs......
The Rockefellers created the AMA, the modern aleopathic system of medicine in America, as well as bought out every drug producer in the country.....Fortunes have been made by these and others willing to delve into creating the need for their constructs.....
Unfortunately for us.....we are the victims of the whole thing.....and have been for a long while......please watch the whole film....

This is, in my opinion, one of the best documentaries "out there" on these subjects. Some of this subject matter, especially in terms of organizational behavior in work environments, are things that I outright learned in the School of Business that I attended--even right down to using suggestion boxes to make employees feel like they are, at least, being heard. The one comment that I have is that we do have more of a "participatory economy" organizational style and that would be what we would call "flat organizations". Google is the number one example of such an organizational style. However, I feel the need to point out that even these "flat organizations" tend to have traditional forms of hierarchy within them in the form of executives and boards that still exert some measure of control over the rest of the entity. Even with a more flat organization, group think can still become a significant issue and the entity itself is no assurance that, although they may treat each other well, they will treat society well in turn. Us v. them can still very much develop in a flat organization and the purpose of it is to encourage primary creativity and employee investment. Essentially, it is the "next step" in organizational behavior in terms of advancement. Ironically enough, employees within a flat organization may work far more hours willingly than those working in a hierarchy. Entities like Google basically know how to get everything they can from their employees.

I have spent the last couple years researching just what "it" all is for my own personal reasons and actually uncovered the very same things independently. I have, up until now, avoided looking at others' works on the subjects, because I wanted to draw my own conclusions without external opinion influence. That said, everything in this documentary are things that I, too, uncovered. The one question mark that I put on any of this is simply a matter of terminology. When Gatto brings up the Red Scare of 1848, I find that a little puzzling because the first Red Scare, from my research, occurred in the 1910's. Despite that technicality, Gatto brings up yet another bit of world history that didn't quite seem to make the cut in the textbooks--the Revolutions of 1848. The "Red Scare" in the early part of the 20th Century didn't make the cut either, nor were the events that precipitated and catalyzed that Red Scare.

In terms of motivations, the wealthy industrialists had a whole lot of motivation to find a way to control the workforce. For instance, Carnegie, the man we were taught to know as the great philanthropist who put his name on libraries and a variety of other buildings that have a social benefit, was also responsible for some of the atrocities against the workforce in the late 19th century in the form of the Homestead Strike. John D. Rockefeller, who also is known to be yet another great philanthropist, was the man at the top of the Ludlow Massacre. Carnegie and Rockefeller both financed private military to squash workers as well as calling upon the State for assistance. God bless America. In fact, the public outcry that erupted after the Ludlow Massacre, in particular, was also the source of how our modern public relations was born.

Organizational behavior, marketing, sociology, public relations--these really are the neutered terms for what really is, quite simply, social control. To play devil's advocate for a moment, I would agree with Rickymouse that they are not always as effective as one might think but they are still effective enough to basically sway a significant portion of the public opinion and behavior. When you have an educational system that is primarily geared to authoritarian rule and rote, both of which discourage questioning, then it's fairly easy to comprehend how that could basically prime the pump for that portion of the population. So Ricky is right in a way. It's not 100% effective. In fact, it's estimated that about 80% of ads don't actually encourage consumers to buy a product because, oftentimes, they already are buying it. Still, those same companies will keep dropping $100k+ per 30 second spot to make sure that the public stays locked in.

I could go on at length about so much of what was brought up in that documentary. Instead, I'll just confirm that it is all quite real. I remember coming across the radiation experiments that were performed on unborn fetuses myself about a year ago through an university database. It was absolutely flooring. We have done some deeply disturbing things as a society and the most tragic part is that most of us are completely unaware that these things even occurred. They aren't even a part of the public dialogue. We're charged with the democratic control of our government and yet, we are wearing blinders.

I don't blame Ricky for wanting to dismiss this documentary. I don't want to believe it either. The problem for me is that this documentary did actually find the same things that I did along with coming to some of the same conclusions. Perhaps it is bias because, like Scott Noble, I, too, had a love one who was crushed by EST and psychic driving but if such a commonality had any effect, then it was to force that painful re-examination of everything we believed or thought we knew to see those things that sere the soul. It's pernicious and some of those "great learned men" that we have been taught to hold in high esteem from industry to intellectual elite were actually monsters.

On those rare occasions when a boy or girl who has passed the age at which it is usual to determine social status shows such marked ability as to seem the intellectual equal of the rulers, a difficult situation will arise, requiring serious consideration. If the youth is content to abandon his previous associates and to throw in his lot whole-heartedly with the rulers, he may, after suitable tests, be promoted, but if he shows any regrettable solidarity with his previous associates, the rulers will reluctantly conclude that there is nothing to be done with him except to send him to the lethal chamber before his ill-disciplined intelligence has had time to spread revolt. This will be a painful duty to the rulers, but I think they will not shrink from performing it. Bertrand Russell, The Scientific Outlook

About 99.5% of the entire population of the planet are as stupid and philistine...as the great masses of the English. The important thing, it seems to me, is not to attack the 99.5%...but to try to see that the 0.5% survives, keeps its quality up to the highest possible level, and, if possible, dominates the rest. The imbecility of the 99.5% is appalling--but after all, what else can you expect? Aldous Huxley, private correspondence

Thanks for the very concise reply Alice, the documentary confirms for me my worst fears for mankind, and signifiess that we have already fallen prey to much of what the elites have planned for us.......The great publicity coup has been to paint the elites as people, which they do not apear to be, in reality...........

I tend to take a more middle of the road approach in that those on top are still people and their intention is quite simply to maintain their control of their various pockets of the world and survive. That's a very human thing to do. The problem is that there is a persistent dehumanizing theme that arises out of all of the things that have gone on over the past hundred or so years. So while they are human and people, too, there is a tendency towards viewing the great masses of "everybody else" with a varying degree of coldness to outright disgust.

In a way, it could be called the history of class warfare and the fears and motivations from the late 19th century to the 30's of the 20th really are fairly self evident through the many texts written by a good variety of intellectual elites such as Bertrand Russell or Edward Alsworth Ross. To properly frame it, I'd say that, just like John Locke contributed to the ideas behind the American Revolution, well, so did the writings of such authors like Karl Marx contribute to the ideas of the labor movement in the 19th century and beyond. In that sense, it's no great surprise that Marx and the ideas of Socialism and Communism have been so demonized in American society today and that demonization extends to labor movements and unions (sometimes warranted and sometimes not). He was public enemy #1 in the eyes of the elite and they were attempting to counter those effects. If there was any true father to all of this mess, then that father would be Karl Marx.

Unlike Locke, Marx's ideas threatened everything and after those revolutions of 1848 is when you really start seeing the ideas of eugenics coming into fruition through Sir Francis Galton. Really, the ideas behind eugenics provided legitimacy for the disparity between the classes, as the documentary mentions, some were just "better". In a sense, a genetic "divine right" was attempted to be established. It's why it took off on both sides of the pond and didn't really start falling out of favor until after the end of the war.

Another very curious event that fits in with all of this would be the Business Plot of 1933, which really ties a few things in together.
