Yes.

And that part about the Navy pushing the boats up to a remote island............that's perfect. The people on those boats obviously don't like where they came from, it's unfair for another country to take care of people who couldn't, for whatever reason, make it in their own home country so now you get the UN to air-drop basic supplies to those people and they can start their own own society.

PC? Who cares? It makes sense.

Australia is entitled to protect its borders against illegal immigrants, so I certainly support this action. It also makes sense from a humanitarian perspective, because human trafficking is an ugly business with many innocent victims and the surest way to reduce it is to make any attempts at illegal immigration futile.
