If the information he is telling is not supposed to be told.... He'd be dead. Plain as that... That or, by now "they" don't care anymore if we're told the truth because either

1. Our short attention spand will forget about it tomorrow
2. It's neccasary for "us" to know such information to achieve their goal
3. They know most people won't believe the information or won't listen to others who relay the message
4. People won't even listen

Why kill someone when you can de-fame them? They've tried, trying to spin a story about him cheating but Russell knows that game, he's been keeping himself clean as a whistle, every time they try to get someone to talk him down he replies with witty and flowery (but relevant) retorts.

He is fantastic and I wish him all the best.

I may be interpreting his message incorrectly but I sense and feel socialist, globalist overtones in a very subconscious way. He wreaks of individuality and speaks of nonconformity but implies a global unity that requires the sacrifice of those attributes. Regardless his message is refreshing in comparison to the usual.

I agree. I noticed a few of his messages include "don't vote".
Finding that interesting as thats the same general message of apathy sent out in all our local msms -- always stories of those "bucking the system" and "showing the gov't" by refusing to vote.

We know what happens at those times, yes? Voting fraud and that topic aside, all the "cool people" who are taking a stand and not voting is exactly what "they" want.

There are many "fundamentalist" type churches around with big congregations who will go out and vote for whomever they're told to vote for, for one example.

Yes Russell camera and intellectually stimulating to the audience. And yes its good he'll address a message to the masses. I do find it interesting when he tells us not to vote.

Puts a new twist on "fixing" the system, in my opinion.

I think people can look too deeply into these things. He's delivering his personal views, which at this point in time have a resonance with many. I don't think he's trying to usher in a socialist one world government, but highlighting certain injustices and outlining his belief in spirituality.

Its nice that someone can talk about spirituality openly, without bringing in the dogma of organised religion, but if that's what interests you, you would be more entertained by an Alan Watts lecture.

I do like Brand and share some of his beliefs, but I don't like putting anyone on a pedestal and I'm sure he wouldn't want me to.

He's not ghosted because he isn't providing evidence of corruption. He is simply speaking spiritually as does millions of others across the world. Most people just chose not to listen.

People only get "canoed" if they hurt someone's sensibilities by challenging the status quo or endangering national security by becoming a whistleblower. He doesn't fit this category so he is just a man sharing his thoughts.

I am not trying to put him on a pedestal. I am just happy to see someone on msm media highlighting problems that no one including our leaders will go near. He is asking questions that will get people thinking...

I think he is exposing a truth. A truth that may be evident to many here on ATS but not topics covered by MSM. There are many things are politicians skim over and refuse to address. There are questions they refuse to ask. I am just happy to see someone on msm addressing some of these issues...

peace back..

And they call it The apocalypse...

I think it is necessary to achieve a goal and so the past few years "They" are being revealed or revealing themselves. Although like you I am uncertain of the reasoning or the outcome...

Perhaps it is to test the public to see how dumbed-down, or tolerant they are to having the puppet masters being shown directly to them...

Personally I hope it is to create a new era of humanity, to break off the chains and change the old guard, but I wont hold my breath.

And there in draws my skepticism because that is an Anglo version of how Jesus looked not the Middle Eastern one rarely portrayed...

Although I do believe everyone should be more in touch with themselves on a spiritual level.

The mans an arogant fool, typical of the rich. If he is so spirtual why is he so materiallistic? If he gives all his money to the poor i might pay some attention to his blabbering.

Ps ,you free your mind and think. You are too violent in your assumptions.

Its interesting to see Russel Brand out of all people speak out about this. I can appreciate a sell-ebrity WAKE UP and realize how screwed up the world is in their way of thinking. The media just loves to report breaking news about the Kardashians new car or an actress who wore this outfit. It really irks the ish out of me, and Yahoo is an advent for posting sellebrity news like its something soooo serious when it isn't. Meanwhile, the real NEWS is either posted/mentioned for a day and then totally forgotten about.

Lennon, Malcom, Ghandi, MLK...all tried and died. They never once claimed to be "exposing" anything but rather spreading a message.

Sorry but RB is not exposing anything that isn't already known.

I appreciate that he is in fact carrying the message that so many have died for to a new generation tho.

Peace

May I ask if you are rich because your statement is just as arrogant.. Truth remains the truth regardless of where is comes from and regardless of wealth we should all have a say... If you live in the western world you are richer than most people in the world already. Would you like it if someone judged you the same way and muted your voice because they thought you were rich..

We as a society today never want to look at effects on the whole when we want something as an individual. This started happening or was made to happen at a certain time and has grown and grown. We stopped caring about simple controls on prime time TV and movie content to protect our children, let them be innocent and grow in security.

There was a thread on here the other day about young girls with their barely covered butts in the air to be hit by soccer balls the team threw...being fun and ok. It is not ok...the message is not ok...the behavior and standards it sets is not ok...what do things lead to where do they take us, step one...step two...think ahead nothing is unimportant or simple. Where will the foot put on this road lead us?

We do not care what suffers if we can eat it's body parts as bacon our taste buds became our god and sympathy and empathy is thrown out the window.

Do any of us not really see that the simple collage of cells and simple bags of water we walk in are nothing.

Clearly living for the physical being is pointless, it is short and filled with loss and pain, if you cannot look deeper that that.

Good detection on both of your parts. These ideas that Russell is proposing are nothing new. They are, in fact, old, dating from the 60's-70's and emanating from a variety of sources from a mass production/homogenized method from Erhard Seminars Training (EST) to Esalen.

The claim is that this is the secret that the elites don't want you to know. On the contrary, it's been in our schools. Check out page 25 or skim through it all: www.esalen.org...

Where I disagree is that this is somehow a socialist endeavor. Hardly. From page 9 on the above linked document:

1989: hosted Boris Yeltsin on his first trip to the United States. Esalen arranged meetings for Mr. Yeltsin with President Bush, former President Reagan, and many leaders in business and government. According to Yeltsin's biographers Leon Ahrens and Timothy Colton , this trip catalyzed his turn from Communism and his decision to quit the party, which in turn led to his central role in the end of formal Communist rule and the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Esalen hosted Boris Yeltsin and even Yeltsin credits the trip as being the impetus to leave Communism behind. Now socialism is not communism but we're talking about an entity who hooked him up with the very much capitalistic Bush, Sr. and Reagan...Who really benefits from apathetic individualism? Governments and business, especially in times of turmoil. I can understand the feeling of helplessness when faced with the world's troubles and voila, you have an idea which basically tells people that they can change the world through inward reflection, thought (depending on how extreme you go), or changing yourself. How very empowering but last I checked, activism and participation is what actually changes the world.

When will the whole Russell Brand crapola die out? When will people stop following celebrities and wake up to their own sovereignty?
Do you really need famous shills to tell you what to think?
