Recent sequence data has indicated that 2004 swine in South Korea have flu sequences from 1933. These isolates have reassorted and recombined with an avian isolate (H9N2) and avian H9N2 recombine and reasort with H5N1.

Now it looks like the 1933 sequences were found on a farm in South Korea

If these sequences are real, there could be a major problem because a human flu virus would be easily transmitted and those born after 1933 would have limited immunity.
