Without posting your entire thing, please people.. please please please.. I cannot stress this enough..

Fairewinds Energy = Arnie Gunderson = Patent on HIS form of decommissioning = HE wants the contract to make money...

PLEASE... remember this.............. before taking everything Gunderson and Fairewinds says at face value just realize he's out to make a buck as well, he only makes money by these plants using HIS form of decommissioning and HIS company.... TEPECO are a bunch of morons, but it doesn't mean that Fairewinds is sweet as roses either....

If you live on the west coast, leave now if you can. The moment I heard "hot particles" I knew it was a disaster situation. Also don't eat any seafood from west coast waters. What are we doing to this planet? The japanese are are proving an old sterotype correct : they would rather sit on a pile of crap, than clean the toilet! There pride might kill us all.

Who is talking about a west coast evacuation? I haven't heard any talk about a west coast evacuation. When is this supposed to start? Why wasn't it on the real news if it's so dire? Or is this another of those situations where "they" aren't telling us? Because "they" want us dead or "they" are afraid of panic? Because I can assure you that the panic if everyone starts coming down with radiation poisoning will be greater than them saying "hey get the hell out".

Why do you always refer to anyone with money as " filthy" rich. What's dirty about being rich or even very very rich?

It's not being reported offically because this is more doom porn. I already read the words extinction level event. We should be dead several times over from the "Information" we discover here on ATS.

This may very well be an ELE, perhaps the slowest one ever. No sudden poof there goes the world moment just the slow and steady poisoning of the populace and most scary to me the food supplies for the populace.

89 tons goes poof and this gets real serious, real fast.

That being said I trust no one that makes any money from this, including Arnie Gunderson.

You ever hear about a little organization called NATO? Do you seriously think they would just sit back and let this happen ?

My reply was meant to be somewhat tongue in cheek. I don't have anything against people who are wealthy although in the spirit of my post, the ones who would be leaving would be the "dirty" ones who would save themselves at the expense of everyone else.

I really don't understand why the rest of the world hasn't stood up to Japan yet and waged war on them if they don't allow "others" to come in and help fix this disaster??

Maybe you should start a little closer to home. People should be standing up to their own governments requesting the decommissioning of nuclear power plants. If it can happen in Japan it can happen anywhere. It is only a matter of time.

That's not the first time I've seen you use that particular phrase. If you ever want to be wealthy you better stop thinking money is dirty or bad. Law of attraction and all. On topic this situation would be detectable without ever stepping foot on Japanese soil. Scientists the world over monitor things like radiation levels and they would move in in a heartbeat if there was any truth to this. Where is official word to leave the west coast? Where are NATO scientists telling Japan "clean up your act or we do it for you" . They don't tolerate cruelty in much less dire situations . Why would they do it with an extinction level event? They have another planet they can go to? Self preservation is a pretty strong motivator.

You must have me confused with someone else because I argue in favor of capitalism, not socialism and think that people are entitled to keep what they earn.

I think you must have me confused with someone else if you think I use that term as a pejorative.

Because nuclear power plants put out more clean power than any other source we have right now. No one is crying over the loss of gas lamps and candles. Progress moves us forward and no one ever looks back and says GOSH I wish I still had to chop wood every day to heat my home or I wish I had a horse and buggy instead of this fast automobile. And I really wish I could wash my clothes by beating them with a rock instead of putting them into this front loader washer with the steam setting.
Some day we will have another power source because of the very concerns you give voice to and we will leave the dated technology behind and won't mourn its loss.
Right now though nuclear power is the best producer of electricity and the cheapest.

Is there another source of this?

I'm tired of reading doom porn from the likes of 'occupy corporatism'.

Official release anybody?

ETA: A google search reveals that there are NO legitimate sources and the story seems to have originated at Before It's News.

I'll pass thank you.

The thing about Fukushima is that we currently do not have the technology to fix a meltdown. What the Russians did in Chernobyl was full blow heroism. They got it covered and handled.

The Japanese on the other hand have either sat back in utter denial or the damage was so sever to the bottom of the containment unit that capping it off like Chernobyl would result in a very large explosion when the Corium hit the water table. This is NOT Chernobyl, it is an open uncontrolled reactor on an island, on the edge of the ocean.

The worlds power brokers would never scream fire in a crowded movie theater. This little burp of radiation will take generations to kill everyone (or so much food WW3 starts) so why bother panicking everyone now? Most of us in our late forties will most likely die of cancer anyway........

Europe, of course. Western Europe mostly, but Eastern as well. I have seen many Japanese here in Bulgaria, in the past two years.

They are Chinese, not japanese.

[Column] Reactor3 hoax and Fukushima exploiters
Posted by Mochizuki on January 3rd, 2014

Since the end of 2013, the hoax has been going around on the internet to say reactor3 is having meltdown. (It’s molten already.)

It's worth reading. More at link above.
