since i started this, ill throw my two cents in.

profit isnt bad. you can run a business and pay your people well, while still making profit. the people at the top just have to make less while the people at the bottom make more.

for example, i give you the thirty years after wwii. a ceo averaged 30x more than the average worker. the ceo was still well off, and their employees didnt starve. all that extra money went into funding retirements and benefits. now the ceos take over 3000x more than the average employee, then whine they business cant afford benefits for the little guy.

so remember, fair pay doesnt mean equal, and profit isnt bad. moderation in all things.
