Now that Scientology is a religion in the UK lets demand that Jedi's and the force is too!!!

I was sickened to hear in December that our Supreme Court in the UK has now recognised Scientology as a Religion opening more tax breaks for the cult and their worshippers can now get married with a Scientology theme.
The reason why they changed it is that the court has ruled that Religion does not have to have a god to worship.
So this got me thinking Iam a Jedi who believes in the force (Taoist leanings btw) so lets try and get The Force made into a true religion. .
Many people around the world consider themselves Jedi's and I bet a few Sith so how can we make this happen? heck I bet the first Jedi temple will make a ton of cash from the converted and with many tax breaks we can afford to give Disney a slice of the pie also .
So any Jedi out there? lets do this.

There always is talk of If enough people put it on a census It will be officially recognised but our Government said "NO"

All the same to me. Religion is just a cult that got big.

There is no pie.
The idea that "if it's an official religion the government will give them money" was always a myth.
If you just want to collect money from believers, you can do that without "official recognition". that's what Hollywood does.

Well Buddhism worships no God and that is why the courts ruled in favor of the ST's.

They have opened the floodgates with this bloody stupid idea haven't they. If it's okay for Scientology to be a religion, then it's theoretically okay for everything else to become one too.

I wonder how long until we see BP registering as a religious organisation, in order to avoid taxes?

If you're going to make you're own religion how about not ripping it off somebody who ripped it off someone else? Most of the jedi stuff is based on the messianic christ prophecy and is quite apparent in the second movie with the dialogue between Luke and Yoda.
