Below is a four-minute report CNN has broadcast all morning about the rescue of a few dozen Global Warming researchers trapped in the Antarctic ice for 10 days. What is glaringly missing from CNN's reporting, though, are the words "global" and "warming." In fact, not once does CNN inform its viewers that these researchers were there to confirm that ice in the Antarctic is melting.
Call it a cover up, call it lying through omission -- either way, what you have here is The Most Trusted Name In News choosing not to report the fact that a bunch of Global Warming researchers who specialize in researching ice in the Antarctic got stuck two weeks into a five week expedition after being trapped in ice their own research said would not be there.
How is that not news?
It might mean nothing. But the fact that CNN and other media outlets are covering this fact up, instead of explaining it, tells me it can't be easily explained. Global Warming is a religion to the left and media, and reporting the facts -- and dare I say "science" -- of a story like this undermines the faith.
If nothing else, shouldn't this unexpected ice be good news to those who believe in *Global Cooling* (strike that) *Global Warming*(strike that too)...ur.... Climate Change?
This is not the way those confident in their beliefs behave.
There was only one news story out of 41 that mentioned climate change. That was CBS “This Morning” Dec. 30. “Despite being frozen at a standstill, the team’s research on climate change and Antarctic wildlife is moving forward,” CBS News Correspondent Don Dahler said. That night, all three evening news programs still failed to make any mention of the group’s climate change research.
Frozen Out: 98% of Stories Ignore That Ice-bound Ship Was On Global Warming Mission
Okay, I searched for information on this rescue in several forums. I also did multiple searches and found nothing....so I'm going to be rather annoyed if this ends up being a duplicate. However, I thought it was too funny to let it pass...
But what Global Warming groups have done is commercialize the changing of Earth process to line their pockets with all this Green taxes and regulations, not to mention products $$$$$$$$$

Sorry man money makes the world go around. Always has and IMO always will.
Simply put, In this highly political world big things like climate solutions will only happen quickly if people can profit from doing it.

Face palming myself right about now....... Nope I won't debate climate change or some of it's causes with you. Have a nice night.
Is our planet going through changes? Most certainly.
Do we need to stop all these corporations from dumping toxic chemicals into our atmosphere? Absolutely! Will it affect the air we breathe? It already has but so has every volcanic eruption since Earths beginning. The Earth goes through cycles and we all know that. It doesn't mean that we are the root cause and should pay the price. Especially when politicians get involved.
Did all this pollution change our global climate? Well, all these problems sure aren't helping the cause. That is a fact. But until all you "global warming" people give up your plastic toys, LCD TV's, rubber tires, gasoline, crude oil consumption, basically everything that is the product of these corporations that pump out the pollution you say is changing the Earth...stop bitching about it.
Taxing a nation and it's people does not help! The answer is so simple that people refuse to believe it because God forbid they have to give up their luxurious lifestyles in order to help the cause.
You want technology and modern conveniences? Pollution is the byproduct.
Forty out of 41 stories (97.5 percent) on the network morning and evening news shows since Dec. 25 failed to mention climate change had anything to do with the expedition.
In fact, rather than point out the mission was to find evidence of climate change, the networks often referred to the stranded people as “passengers,” “trackers” and even “tourists,” without a word about climate change or global warming.
