New rules are being written for Obamacare as I type. If a doctor does not comply with the governments wishes, no insurance company will be allowed to do business with them. So there you have it, welcome to the ever changing Obamacare! Isn't it grand having an administration that likes to whip out new rules on whim? To those that support this monstrosity, you asked for it and you got it. Now we all have to pay with our wallets and our lives.

Make certain to read the last quote which shows what the Obama admin had to say about these new rules. Had enough yet?

On Dec. 2, 2013, we learned from the Federal Register that the rules are now being written. Starting in 2015, insurance companies will be barred from doing business with doctors who fail to comply. The rules will be offered in the name of ensuring “health-care quality,” which of course could mean anything.

Not just patients in government programs like Medicare and Medicaid, but patients with private plans they pay for themselves.

This is it folks, this is your death panel and straight from the Obama admin! Gotta keep those costs down since money will be short ya know... Those of us with money will get to sneak off to other countries.

The rules have not been announced, but we have some hints from the president’s key health advisor when the Affordable Care Act was written, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel. Early on, he suggested that doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously “as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others.”

ObamaCare’s latest whopper

Doctors take their oath to help too seriously?

I guess that is like people that take the Constitution too literally.

This administration is a joke.

I have to admit that this one even shocks me. Obama ruling alone is really going to wreck havoc on our country. When will the republicans grow some? We need them and NOW!

Wait a minute, what am I saying? Dems need to grow some also. You can't go supporting someone, just because...

Enough already we need to stop this tyrant!

Looks like this video wasn't so ridiculous after all, now doesn't it....I can see it already: answer these 50 totally unrelated and invasive questions or forgo medical care...submit to these unrelated and invasive medical tests, or forgo care.

If the government doesn't kill you, you're going to die anyway by refusing to submit

You are partially right. But this is soo much more. This is a country for the people by the people. So how many people will happily want the plug pulled on grandma because she is taking up space? Though so...

So basically doctors are being blackmailed into complying with the government or else....
Sounds like a threat to me [if I were a doctor]

ETA: My husband is quite a bit older than I, and I worry about future problems that he may run into due to what you just posted. Scary

It isn't just Grandma, either. It could be anyone with diminished capacity...

20% of adults experienced mental illness in the past year
11% of children diagnosed with ADHD

Those ducks have been getting a row for several years now. "Sorry, we don't have the funds or time to cure people with your diagnosis of mental health deficiency, we have to save our resources for those who are worth it." (Sarcastic Quotes)

And I suspect that the doctors will revolt long before our elected representatives will. I can see it coming. All while the media covers this up until it is too late. Sound familiar?

Your poor husband! When is that blasted Texas going to secede? I will see you there if they do!

"Shock And Awe"

They take their OATH too seriously???

Did anyone in his administration even bother to look up what "oath" meant?

Oh that's right... they know, they just don't give a shiite.

Hell and a Hand Basket. Really.

I have one doctor that takes no insurance at all. More might go that route in 2015. So you will still have fabulous private care for the super wealthy but everyone else is going to stand in line behind the Medicaid patients. You have no idea whats about to happen to you. 3 to 4 hour waits. Oh yeah, it's comin. You're paying for trash. You will get the same care as someone living on Welfare.

I am from Texas. Born and raised. We aren't going to. Most people were brainwashed into thinking the civil war was fought over slavery. It wasn't it was fought over states rights. We the people lost. Therefore we do not have the right to secede. Lincoln only freed the slaves to win the war destroying king cotton in the south. Our politicians might talk a lot but it is not possible. A repeat would happen just as did during the civil war. Lincoln rounded up politicians with no trial and through them in prison. He surrounded capitals with the military to keep them from joining the south. The majority of states wanted to form a new union without Lincoln.

It's not possible to get rid of a dictator. We tried that once. We lost.

You know at one time I belonged to a HMO that would probably be the perfect example of what Obamacare will be. So I took my most precious commodity, my daughter, to a doctor that didn't accept insurance. Has anyone seen that movie, "As Good As It gets", where MS. Hunt plays a woman who is handed great care for her child by a rich obsessive compulsive man? She was struck with awe and utter delight. That's exactly how I felt.

That HMO left my nephew with a broken leg for a week since they, "triaged" him over the phone and said it wasn't broken. He dragged his leg for a week! My mothers best friend died on pneumonia on her couch since they triaged her over the phone as having a cold. They hid my daughters heart murmur from me for 4 years! So when she showed up at a new doctor with strep throat and a heart murmur everyone expected the worst. I know heart murmurs are often nothing, but when one crops up ,"suddenly", with with strep, well that is a different story. She had to needlessly go to a cardiologist where we found out the truth.

A lot of folks have no idea what proper medical care is. Their experience is limited to medical services. Obamarama Care is not going to make it better ... it will make it worse ... just equally worse for more. Then again, there aren't a lot of medical miracles you can find in a doctor's office anyway.

This is all about enriching the insurance industry.

P.S. I missed your posts while you were on hiatus. Glad to see you back!!

Well, I certainly have an idea of what great care is! Right now I can do whatever I please. I can just pick up and go to any hospital and any doctor, even specialists. I can get whatever prescription I need without someone mentioning, "non formulary". (Non Formulary are prescriptions that are too expensive and are often replaced with a totally unrelated cheaper one that may possibly work. Possibly and unrelated are the key words here... )

By looking at the Obamacare plans offered, the only way we could even possible even come close to this is by shelling out $15,000 a year for me and my spouse. And that plan still sucks big time since it has a bigger deductible, copays and exorbitant prescription prices along with that famous, "non formulary" list.

It is nice to be back! And thanx for missing me. You know I get upset enough as it is. So I tried hard not to think about all of Obama's terrible deeds over the holiday. Impossible, but by not writing about them my holidays were much more pleasurable.
Honestly, that man is the worst!

Insider tip. For the most part ... humans are the same all over the world. For that much damn coin ... I'd highly recommend every American start considering medical 'vacations' just like the rich do. Every medical procedure you need, is needed by the citizens of another country.

I'm in Korea. I got all of my older dental work re-done in gold. I've had 5 root canals. Each one cost me $400 (and that came with a gold crown to boot). The dentist I used to visit in Florida wanted to charge me $3200 for one.

I had LASEK (not LASIK ... more like PRK). It's 'the machine' that does the procedure while a doctor watches. Mine was done by one of the newest pieces of technology available. I went from 20/600 - 20/550, horrid astigmatism, and bifocals. to 20/10 - 20-15 ...to no astigmatism, no reading glasses, depth perception on steroids, and crazy/unbelievable color correction. All for the low-low price of $1300.

I consider both accounts of my health 'care' to be life-altering events for the good. I wonder how many Americans could even come close to saying the same. It all comes down to planning. If you don't plan, you won't do it.

This maniac "Dr." Emanuel is the perfect example of what the law is all about.

The Administration is the same way....

Disregard for oaths.

Emanuel has been on a few TV news shows and it's pretty clear he is absolutely nuts.

Very dangerous.

As doctors disappear and become scarce, we will see the classic "get around" when they use technicians and assistants more and more legally.

They can't seem to get enough professionals and they will bring down the standards to *accommodate* the public.

The law itself is the death panel.
