The first image shows what looks like smoke rather than steam.
What do you all think? Is this an old image?

Has reactor 3 gone critical?

Whats even scarier is this map. Its showing elevated rad levels.
Anyone know about this map? Good source?

Someone will be along to try to tell you it is a hopeless source for one reason or another. You can take a guess why they are here.

It is a scary map! Some days it has Alert levels. Easy to see where the problem is coming from. If you put that map up and get another map of wind direction at various altitudes, it can scare your pants off.

Yea, i know about the prevailing winds. Its crazy that anyone would say nay on such an obvious cause.
I fell like its being hushed because the scope and complexity of the situation. Time will reveal the truth.

It's a shame, we had a good go. Now an uncontrollable unavoidable man made disaster is going to wipe out the northern hemisphere, and eventually the entire planet. It may take years or decades, it is amazing how powerful somethings can be, and how careless some humans are with them.

All these species of living lifeforms are dying off, and how long until it's us? We are lucky not to live in an ocean, or be so fragile with all of our technology and medicine. It won't be something they may ever admit, like this mystery flu; maybe that is just the beginning.

Perhaps a distress call to ET is needed?

Fuku is SNAFU.

If the rain gives you the taste of aluminum foil in your mouth then you know you are being exposed.

I don't know that three major nuclear disasters, a ton of close calls and who knows how many sunken nuclear subs boiling away in the 70 years that reactors have been around could be called a good go. You would think the writing would be on the wall by now but somehow industry has been able to keep us drinking the Kool Aid.

The problem that everyone needs to come to terms with, is that Fukashima has no solution.

Our level of tech is just not high enough. We cannot fix the problem because we do not know how.

The current dog and pony show is just that, a show for us, to satisfy our demands for them to do something useful.

Quite frankly, if they keep meddling, eventually, they may make it worse, a lot worse.

I think the molten pool is heading / melting its way into the ground and as far as I can see, the deeper it goes the better.

The really # part of all this is that the lesson has not been learned. Putting a Nuke plant on a known fault line is just asking for trouble and world wide there are lots of troubles just waiting for an earthquake to come along.

Profits over common sense, happens 24/7

DUDES !!!!! FUKU IS FAKE PSY OP >>>> WAKE UP\

YES WE do have radiation treatments ... especially for WEAK ASS crappy BETA radiation like in FUKU omg ... go back to sleep america

All nuclear reactors are guaranteed to fail eventually, just as all compounded phenomena will. These things are hard to face, but by doing so fearlessly and with clarity, we can maintain our composure and deal with life as it unfolds. When such events occur, you simply take care of it; protect yourself and loved ones the best way you know how and then let it go. Worrying about it in advance does us more harm than most things we actually experience. However, Fukushima is our global wake-up call for major social change. If we don't put a stop to the sources of these contaminant agencies and the power players behind them, how much will be left to fight for?

So you're saying that cesium, strontinium, plutonium, an all the other lethal stuff shouldn't be worried about because we have radiation treatments.... Lmao@U- go home genius you're drunk

MOX:
According to the Nuclear Information Resource Center (NIRS), this plutonium-uranium fuel mixture is far more dangerous than typical enriched uranium -- a single milligram (mg) of MOX is as deadly as 2,000,000 mg of normal enriched uranium.
Reactor 3 uses 6% MOX.
"go back to sleep America"? (Fixed that grammatical error for you)...

Get in the way of this stuff and a dirt nap is exactly what's coming!

So, we get steam every time it rains. How hot does rainwater in a cold 5 degree climate have to get before it begins to boil enough to generate steam?

Pure water at sea-level boils at 100 degrees Celsius (212º F.) But water with minerals in it must be hotter to boil.

So with that in mind can anybody explain to me how this isn't extremely bad?

Another one? in order for another one to occur, there needs to be have been one that preceded it. There wasn't.

Apparently 2 nuclear-level explosions noted at the facility on Dec. 31st. And Russians putting a highest classification on anything related to this today?

Thanks for sharing that.

All signs are pointing to this being extremely bad with no end it sight. The netc.com is a good source but it can be misleading, like at the Fukushima plant there is a green RadCon1 icon, even though the RAD levels are at 144,000.

Being the time of year that we get weather systems from the West, I do believe all of the US is being exposed to serious levels of radiation, with those levels spiking with every weather system coming from the west.

Without a doubt there is a global coverup going with how serious this is and how it will result is mass cancer cases and mass deaths.

Really?

That place is a slapped together map of the supposed radiation levels at nuclear sites around the world. It’s got no indication where it’s getting its information or what it means. Has lots of nice bible quotes though, if that's your thing.

So the 144000 RAD levels at the melted down plant are made up? The spikes in RAD levels right after a weather system comes from the West is just made up numbers.

Tokyo, being upwind from the plant has lower RAD levels than most of the continental US. It is safer there than here.

The plant didn't 'melt down'.
