I wouldn't be surprised if, in a near future, someone would post those GIFs in an YouTube video as proof of life on Mars.

First one to see any or all of the gifs in a youtube video wins no prize. Nice work! This will scare away little kids who would have become worlds famous astronauts and traveled to Mars, yet after seeing that eyeball rolling around inside the rock, will end up working at a dry cleaners and trying somehow to make (odds and) ends meet.

The latest anomaly on Mars...check out Gigapan #160350.... center right on this rocky hill...sits a golden plant like object, nestled in this rock formation....totally out of sync with its surroundings.

Is this the image you are referring to?

And here it looks tremendously like water to me but when I look a bit more the "reflecions" don't seem to add up so that tells me it isn't water.

Here are my new GigaPan panoramas, I may post the smaller ones (that GigaPan doesn't accept) latter.

It is rather odd isn't it? Quite organic looking and seems out of place. However as this hasn't seemed to create any stir I guess it's just ...nothing lol.

Which area are you looking at? I can't see anything that looks like water or reflections. Unless you mean the little sand slips at the bottom?
