That's actually the type of story I'd buy if I were out and about.

The story is actually narrated by a regular human survivor of a war, the themes themselves are written to specifically appeal to scientific ethics and how they blend with politics and the military industrial complex blended with the supernatural qualities of the (titans is what i call them) the story itself they are not the main characters but the causation of so many things the main character is actually never really seen because it is recounted through first person accounts of what happened. It is almost like a bunch of smaller novels that link together to tell the complete story. Tom Clancy meets Cyberpunk talking to the UN
