Another *casualty* of the failed ObamaCare website.

We've heard many and this one is about people who live in Iowa and were somehow "told" they could get Medicaid and apparently couldn't get to the part about buying their own policies.

The Fed site screwed up the transmittal of information it seems.

Now people need to scramble to get a policy because of bureaucratic *errors* and endless *mistakes* again.

Wouldn't it be ironic if we start seeing figures next month about more people being uninsured than when this joke started !!

Oh sure people are being told everything can be *retroactive* to Jan 1st, but remember, the people saying this are some of the same who created the problem in the first place !!

The Red Tape rolls are being distributed as we speak.

Nearly 16,000 Iowans who tried to apply for coverage via the glitch-plagued federal health insurance website are being told to apply separately through the state Department of Human Services.

The Friday afternoon announcement stems from a kink in healthcare.gov, which is a key part of President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

The issue affects Iowans who entered their information into healthcare.gov and received a notice that they might qualify for Medicaid, the public health insurance program for the poor. The federal computer system was supposed to transfer their applications to a state computer system, but the transfer has been complicated by technical problems. The timing is critical, because the new insurance coverage is supposed to take effect on New Year’s Day, which is Wednesday.
