What can we expect in terms of things that might be introduced to change our lifestyles in 2014? Is there a new iphone or something like that around the bend? Will we be able to buy home androids yet? What should we know about that you know is going to go widespread in 2014?

What would you buy???

Google glasses
iphone 6
Occulas rift and Omni
iwatch

....or something else???

i hope that the most profound thing to happen in 2014 will be a slow dawning amongst humanity in the West that we have to get up off our rears and wake up.

you can only lie to the Sheeple so many times before even those that will not see can perceive what is going on. The use of the power of 3 by Politicians is wearing to a thin veneer and the continuous loop called news on the MSM these days helps to shine a light through the haze of smoke and mirrors.

Democracy was built on the blood of ancestors, it should not be wasted on the vanities of todays political elite. The EU is a prime example of what happens when the lunatics run the asylum. Crazy dictatorial rules, vast wasting of taxpayers money etc.

For the benefit of the NSA, I am not encouraging anarchy or anything remotely like it. I am however all for accountability in public life.

NSA and similar "5 eyes" participants have their good points, it would be somewhat counter productive to publish them. For the 3rd time recently I find myself saying there are certain things the general public don't need to know.
There is a line in an old Rudyard Kipling poem that goes:
"Them that asks no questions don't get told no lies, so watch the wall my darlin' while the gen'lemen go by."
its about smuggling and the gentlemen are the smugglers, and its a very quaint poem if you have the time and inclination to look for it.
Seek & Ye Shall Find - an old Customs saying, albeit from the bible.

so, if I have generated a profound interest in English poetry for you perhaps that will be the second most profound thing to happen...damn, its still 2013, just pretend, eh?

The Chinese will discover evidence of something very strange on the moon. My RV journeys indicate human skeletal remains.

I believe the new Apple iWatch will be the next big thing. Apple will release the iWatch in October, 2014, a full year after samsung released their smart watch. In the past year, Apple has seen what has worked with the smart watch, and what has failed miserably. There's a reason the samsung watch only sold 50k units in its first three months on the market. Poor marketing, and poor planning, as in only having the watch support one android phone (the samsung note). Apple will create an iWatch that works seamlessly with all iPhones and iPads, and Apples stock will take off during the 4th qtr, 2014. That's my prediction.

As far as ATS, in 2014 there will be a ton more doom porn and the endless use of the word sheeple

The very fact you are frightened says you will do a good job as a father. Kid rearing is one of the most difficult, scary, and labor intensive (and I'm not talking just about the birthing process) you will ever endure. It will also be one of the most rewarding.
Hang in there!

I have no idea what 2014 has in store for me. It's definitely not gadgets. I'm hoping it's not more chaos. I've had enough of that.

Never drop or shake the baby.
Don't forget to feed him/her.
Ignore all other well-meant advice, and follow your own instincts.
You'll do fine.

As long as someone is comfortable and has freedom they never wake up. If you get challenged by the system in a manner that is dishonest then you start to question it.

iPhone 6 does not deserve to be one of the greatest technological advances of the coming year... The first iPhone was revolutionary, everything after that has been a minor upgrade that has been sold at prices I can buy a second hand car for and people flock to it like moths to a flame.

I think the greatest advancement of 2014 will not be anything that is designed to break and empty our pockets.

The nanoglass I will give, that is amazing and I can completely see every screen in the future being composed of it... perhaps even every surface to make the electric world 100% compatible with us wherever we are.

If the world became a more enlightened place, I would put it above everything you have just listed.

I kinda want to use all of 2014 to just work my AZZ OFF to start to make enough to buy a house again. I don't really need a house but the place I have no is not great. It's ok at best. But I'm 39 now, so I feel like I'd like a house again and I'd apprecaited it more this time around. I just feel like a fool for not trying to pay off one of the houses I use to own. What's the best house? Just one that you own and are paying off, and or better yet have paid off. It doesn't have to be a perfect as long as you own it. I got to buy a journal so I can log ever fracking minute of my day. Wake up early and stay up late jsut working on my businesses until I get them producing. I think I've cracked the code when it comes to all this web 2.0 bs. so I get it, the money is in building a mailing list. That's the key fyi. So that's what I'm gonna work on. I just think it would be so cool to have a house again. I'd get hot tub in the back yard, and I'd renovate the basement to be sort of a games room slash guest room. It would be awsome. I hope I can make that happen again.
