Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, John Kerry, and the growing Growing Militancy

The Mansoura and Cairo bombings this week show that the type of militant attacks that had been largely confined to remote and sparsely populated Sinai are now spreading to the densely populated heartland of Egypt as anger grows over a crackdown on the once-powerful Muslim Brotherhood group.

Secretary of State John Kerry called Egypt's foreign minister and condemned the "horrific terrorist bombing" in Mansoura as well as the bombing in Cairo on Thursday. Mr. Kerry expressed concern about the Egyptian government's terrorist designation of the Muslim Brotherhood, and recent detentions and arrests. He stressed the importance of including groups across the political spectrum in the transition to democracy.

Col. Ahmed Ali, an Egyptian military spokesman, repeated the accusation on Thursday that the Brotherhood was responsible for the attack in the Delta.

"The Muslim Brotherhood is the mother organization of all Islamist terrorist and jihadist organizations in the world," he said. "They try to portray themselves…as a political party and only involved in politics, but on the ground they are jihadist terrorists."

Most who frequent this sight are aware of the past support given to the Muslim Brotherhood by some of the PTB in the USA.... if any of the several postings and articles are to be believed.

The Egyptian people have had a hard time these last few years and now with the bombings moving into urban areas along with the indiscriminant killings of people going about their daily lives I for one hope they capture and hang everyone of the Perps responsible.

Well maybe John Kerry should take a page from his own books. How many political groups the US ousted in the name of terrorism. How many democracies has it toppled..

Kerry condemns the MB terrorist bombings in one breath and then says allow them in to your political system so you can have democracy, that sounds like the Obama administration mentality.

No doubt came from the Muslim Brotherhood adviser's in Obama's Whitehouse.
