To quiet one's own mind and have an absence of all thoughts created from within one can open up to the hereafter and receive messages from spirits. Women are innately more comfortable to this because of their physique while to men it can appear counterintuitive/unnatural. I believe some people inherit this thought (as part of a gift left unnamed in their minds), some might naturally learn it (through life events) and others have to spend a lot of time meditating on concepts like shunyata or emptiness in Buddhism. Just my 2 cents, it has to be something or aspiring to.

It has nothing to do with quieting the harshness of this reality so you can hear it.? If the mechanics of meditation were a way of life in the sense of a everyday state of consciousness you would effectively be walking on "the other side"

I like the centre everywhere, circumference nowhere model... but reality persists.

What is faster than the speed of light, more powerful than god, more evil than the devil, the rich need it, the poor have it, if you eat it you will die?...

If you think it's anything you would be wrong.

If nothing is the case, we better enjoy "something" while it lasts.

Either way, its still a good attitude to have.

Can you see those whom are still afraid of "nothing" - they have a certain look about them, a kind of simple "fear" that they usually meet with aggression apprehension.

I'm definitely not - it used to give me nightmares however.

I was not aware of apes speaking English, though the excitement in this little fellows body language might have helped me decide, if he did not look so fustrated...
