China's new Strategic Bomber... Maybe the undeclared cold war is heating up ?

This latest Chinese PR stunt with a "new" aircraft comes close to over-shadowing Iran's new, little fighter jet they told us about last year.

No doubt, the Chinese are hard at work developing their own version of our triangles and unlike the US, they have little need or deep pockets enough to also create a whole new, up-to-the-minute conventional bomber to cover that highly top secret work.

the USA spends $700 billion per year on defense. Asia spends $380 billion. But we have been spending like that since the 1940's when China was still working horses and had no electricity or running water. They just started their spending spree since we started giving them all our money....last ten years or so. They steal some plans or buy some crap tech from Russia but they won't be close to the USA for another 20 years and that would only be if we completely stopped military funding all together today.

Ive said it before, its fine trying to copy designs, copy them all you like, but designs like these have conops and a design path.

Imagine looking at F35 and then trying to make it a stovl or vtol.

It didnt end up that shape without considering the 3 variants required and you know its got several computers and a # hot engine in there..you cant copy it, you need data.

Having said that - they probably hacked those designs and software too!
