Finally...first hate crime charges for "knockout" game, but it's white against black!

Finally....a hate crime charge for this dangerous "knockout" game that's been happening all over the country and growing in popularity. Finally! Wait...it's a white guy charged for hitting an elderly black man. Imagine that. Blacks have been assaulting all kinds of folks for years with this game and now the first hate crime charge gets handed down...to a white person.

I finally get it...blacks can be charged with no hate crimes. Their crimes against whites are justified because of 400 years of oppression, I guess.

Feds: "knockout game" attack was a hate crime

CNN just got through having a debate about this charge. The three anchors included two black guys and a white guy who tried to point out what was more disgusting about this crime was the fact that a 79-year old elderly man was attacked. This of course was ignored. Despite all the countless knockout game attacks that have been documented (nearly all of them by blacks against whites) these anchors even doubted the existence of the game. Pathetic. And is it any wonder that CNN is about to go to documentary television rather than covering the news?

According to the federal complaint, Barrett attacked the 79-year-old man "because of the man's race and color." He will next appear in court Friday afternoon for a detention hearing.
The suspect made a video of the attack November 24, the complaint said. In the video, he allegedly commented that "the plan is to see if I were to hit a black person, would this be nationally televised?"
He then allegedly "hit the man with such force that the man immediately fell to the ground. Barrett then laughed and said 'knockout,' as he ran to his vehicle and fled."
The victim suffered two jaw fractures and was hospitalized for several days, the complaint said.

Despite all the racial motivation that seems to be behind this game something has to be done to stop it. There was already a case just recently about a man being killed from it. It's dangerous to the unsuspecting victim. A coward runs up and sucker punches the victim without him knowing and the attempt is to knock the person out cold. Plain dumb. What is this country coming to?

"It is unimaginable in this day and age that one could be drawn to violently attack another based on the color of their skin," said Special Agent in Charge Stephen Morris of the FBI's Houston office. "We remind all citizens that we are protected under the law from such racially motivated attacks, and encourage everyone to report such crimes to the FBI."

It would be nice to see more news stories about black people who play this game getting charged with hate crimes rather than it being a one-way street. Maybe it would deter them from participating in such barbaric acts if they knew there were more serious repercussions, but then again....most of the black folks who play this game (or anyone for that matter) are criminals and criminals just don't give a damn.

It needs to be stopped and those who participate regardless of skin color need to be punished. Cold cocking someone or a sucker punch is a crime no matter what someone wants to call it.

Every damn one of them should be charged as a hate crime! Even if the perpetrator and the victim are the same race.

The classification of "hate crime" for anything is rediculous. Either something is a crime or it's not. If I don't like Jews and punched one in the face, that doesn't warrant any harsher punishment if I just decided to punch a random non Jewish person in the face. It's another stab at government controlled social manipulation.

There are no gay rights, there are only rights. There is no hate crime, there is only crime. The government saying there is a difference is only because they use the gap to divide the base of citizens that will buy into such a ridiculous premise in the first place. Another straw man closest enemy the media uses to spread the divide and conquer strategy to keep our minds off of the blatant and emboldened tyranny we live with on a daily basis.

The government is too inept to run the Post Office without taking a 25 million dollar a day loss, they don't need to be in the business of judging individual morality, religion or making any decisions on what a hate crime is because they are so terribly confused themselves. Isn't it a hate crime to fund and arm the same terror organization responsible for 9/11 and the patriot act?
