Poor thing has a breathing problem, possibly a polyp that grows from the ear and down their throat. Had two cats that had them, one has had surgery twice. The last one grew as large as my thumb, and she had snoring and sleep apnea that was severe. Sometimes, they eye nerves are affected when they are removed.

When they are removed, they have a tendency to recur. Kind of sad, really. Poor kitty.

Hmmm, that's odd, because the owners website says it's because Lil BUB's teeth didn't grow in and that she has Osteopetrosis. Maybe they are just being assumptious though as so many people tend to do.

Happy holidays!

I said possibly. Laughing at poor kitty is like laughing at someone in a wheelchair. Still a disability. :

You too.

If you're wondering what kind of moonbat would watch the entire video -- it's me!

If you wonder if the video is looped -- yes, it is, but still cuter'n a bug's ear.

My only question at this point is........... what mechanism is used to make a gas fire crackle?

Cute kitty and a cut above the standard holiday fireplace scene, imo. I remain grateful that they didn't force the cat to wear a Santa hat. That would've been in juxtaposition to the snuggly purr.

Solid cat: Eternal Vigilance! ......... sleep............ Eternal vigilance! ......... snore..........

Good stuff!

Well maybe some of you think it's sad but looking at the background this cat has a very good home to live in and I think if this cat had some kind of illness the owner wouldn't displayed his cat like this?To me the cat looked pretty relaxed amd shows no signs of discomfort or ill in any kind.

I am not denying it looks like she has a good home.
I think her problems are being exploited, and I would feel this way about any animal, or human, it matters not to me. This reminds me of the freak shows in the old days at the circus.

Obviously, she has lots of illnesses, and deformities. That's why I feel the way I do. It's obvious her owner loves her, but still thinks it's okay to exploit her.

In my first post, I knew something wasn't right, I didn't know what. Maybe this will help people understand.

Lil Bub was the runt of her litter born to a feral mother. [7] She "was born with several genetic mutations," had to be bottle-fed and had difficulty being adopted.

Her tongue always hangs out because
of her short lower jaw and toothlessness but her appetite is unaffected. [2][7] Lil Bub also suffers from a rare bone disorder called osteopetrosis for which she takes medication.

[9][10] In late 2012 during the filming of Lil Bub & Friendz she had a serious health episode and
was diagnosed with osteopetrosis by a specialist in Indianapolis but recovered.

Lil Bub (born June 21, 2011) is an American cat and Internet celebrity known for her "perma-kitten" appearance.

Just my opinion.

Understood, and I didn't think of it that way. Thank you for letting me speak my opinion without feeling defensive, my problem is truly with the owner.

Much respect to you.

How would you know?

Cats don't have facial expressions.

A friend of mine had a cat wthat was born without a lower jaw. The tongue hung off the side. It was a mess every time it ate because it basically had to take a hanging tongue and try to lap at its wet food.

Watch the movie. It is a documentary about her. She is very well taken care of and very happy. She takes regular visits to the vet, even taken trips to specialists. Her owner cares about her so much that he got a tattoo of her.

The movie is a Vice production so it is actually pretty good.

If you know that little about cats then I understand your point of view. There are many signs that cats are happy or uncomfortable. This cat is very good at showing its comfort level. And yes, they do have facial expressions.
