I talked it over with the wife last night and we decided that we don't get enough quality time together as it is, So I'm not taking the new job, but left on very friendly terms.

I have been given a raise effective as of 1st of March so it's been back dated and more than covers what I would have ended up with in pocket

I'm still looking around but will only go to more local interviews in the future.

So it's a win win situation at the moment

no, it seems to have missed me. I spent yesterday working from home, and then tending to the walking dead at the house. They all were better by supper, so we had Subway sandwiches and soup last night for supper.

I finished through Season 6 of Sons of Anarchy last night, too. Cody, if you have not seen it, you should watch. In summary, it is a California 1% biker club that has ties to Belfast (they have a charter in Belfast). They sell IRA guns throughout California (mostly Northern in the show, but they have charters all through the West of the US). Its a fairly gruesome show, and so much more silly drama than anyone's real life would have (to the point of sometimes facepalming). But its still a pretty good show.

Glad you at least were able to attend to the zombies without ill affect.

We're awaiting the arrival of Game of Thrones season 3 at the moment, and just finishing up Spartacus (If you like blood guts gratuitous sex and swearing I would highly recommend it) It's a well written script as well, the characters speak beautifully.

I can get Sons of anarchy on cable, I'll see if I can find season 1 and start recording it.

If you guys have netflix over there....seasons 1-5 are on there. I can send you a jump drive with season 6. Let me know.

Game of Thrones...we will be starting to "catch up" on it i think. I really like waiting till a series runs its course when I can. I don't watch a show, i consume it. I don't know "moderation" very well, and consume things rather than enjoying them. Its why I don't really drink....to risky for me.

I'm the same I'd rather sit and overdose on something rather than gentle moderation, unfortunately I did find drink
Took me 20 years to kick the habit and I still have the odd blow out.

Luckily for me Mrs C. is a very patient and understanding wife.
