Just try this one out, the current one seems to cut off slightly at the bottom.

And no, we don't get paid for this, to do so in my opinion would ruin the part about how much I think we all enjoy doing this.

Bacon: The secret weapon of choice

Okay, so, I was looking at some slides, and then felt compelled to look at pictures of various viruses and bacteria.
They can be quite beautiful.

some random bacteriophage

I did not take these pictures. These have been snagged off the internet and slightly edited into avatar background frames.

Lots of bacteria can look quite pretty too, and I've collected some pictures of those, but will perhaps turn those into avatar images another day.

The above images are free for anyone to use.

Wow I leave for a day & everyone has new clothes! I missed the PARTY!
I went & tried to adjust my clothes, & now I can't bloody remember how
to wear them...LOL! I always forget & it's so frustrating I am going to have
to write it down. I have the string for the BG transparency but when I click
on the photo I never know whether to click the avatar dude or the BG square.

I'm running around half dressed again. Oh well at least I could make a change
& I still have my original for after Mardi Gras.

When I woke up to the BIG PURPLE...OMG what a shock, LMAO! That definitely
rocked my breakfast. Those baggy pants reminded me of ? Celo (sp), from that
singing competition TV show, saw at me mum's I don't have TV.

BFFT you made my weekend!
I see there are quite a few beautiful pieces from everyone!

Dollukka thank you SO MUCH for the lesson! I had never heard of
the rule nor anything about was a great treat!

I need to start practicing & watching more tutorials. I especially need to
get on with the selection tool, all this bloody erasing takes forever to remove
backgrounds & etc. I am so anal that I will place a solid BG to put my figure
on so I can see that I am not leaving an edge or traces behind.

It was good practice trying to size those buggers, especially the mask. I finally
just caved. I did 3 of them & this one fit best.

I like the ant one
it´s showing off !

I know! I saw the larger pic and knew he'd make a great avatar.

I really like the machine elf on the finger too. I've a bunch of darker, weirder avatars I made...
They just didn't seem in keeping with Valentines Day so I'll put em' up later.

Dude thanks for the Zappa & the rest! I am a lover of ALL music if
it is good. For the list so far I am with BFFT. I do like classical but being
a drummer I prefer Tchaikovsky & Berlioz (sp). due to much percussion
especially Witches Sabbath!

So Cody are you a fan of Adrian Belew? Only asking because he was a Frank
guitar player & you play guitar( yes I know well beyond most & most).

I just thought of this...March (being my birthday) we have a
double shot...St Patrick's & Equinox...
You guys probably already have them all stashed up your
sleeves. Looking forward to great fun! I better try to kick
start me brain!
Cody I need your Java!
You know I have been drinking tea for years maybe I need to
switch back to the morning that is...still need tea.

The only way I have at the moment is microwave water poured into
a French could be good with the right grind. I like very strong in espresso style anything dark & kicks A$$ in the p/u department,
but holding great flavor. It is not just about the caffeine but flavor.

Open to suggestions my night shift pal!

The darker roasted beans have less caffeine to be absorbed by the body. something about the heat destroying it. A guy who works for me was a bean roaster/seller before, and he told me that. Maybe its all baloney.

but breakfast blend has a higher caffeine level due to the relatively light roast. Medium roasts combine the most of flavor and caffeine.

For me, its all about the flavor. I drink coffee all day. ill probably have a cup in a minute while the wife gets ready. My favorite is Sumatra dark roast. I get the cafe ole brand from HEB (a texas grocer).

How interesting....I wonder how many people including myself
think the darker roast are stronger. Thanks because I have 2 samples
from Starbucks ( I will not buy, just free) the blondes.

I LOVE coffee when it is good! I know you & Cody will hit me
with your best shot!

DAMN I still cannot get over those purple Jammies!
I even told me bloody mum about them tonight!

Hi Ektar

I'd never heard of Adrian Belew until you mentioned him. so I did quick search and was very pleasantly surprised.

I couldn't believe I hadn't heard him before

Thanks for turning me on to him

If you're ever around London drop in for coffee any time you wish.

Thanks dear Cody,

coffee, cheddar, and bacon, oh my!
Count me in!

And I thank BFFT for the mini-lesson on coffee beans and their colors, I always thought, the longer roasted the better. Now I learned something new.
