My husband said: "His parents probably taught him not to break his toys too"

lol...

Your husband loves you dearly, and that's a wonderful thing. This is sorta what all these guys are like (with the exception mine doesn't cook...) but its a guy thing... for some reason they have to run around saying what horrible mean wives they have and how bad a husband they are... it's a guy thing I think...makes them feel manly somehow I guess.. hahahaha

But yours, is a keeper for you, because he loves you very very much. You simply cannot ask for more, even though you don't like him feeling like your breakable, he always will... trust me. That's a guy thing too.

Men are naturally wired to protect women and children.

Women are naturally wired to protect children.

Society is really, really good at stuffing up the wiring.

Going off on a complete tangent just because it is great news!

Our 5 day heat wave is over. It is raining hard. If the rain keeps up for a little while it will extinguish all the bloody bush fires.

Time for a mate!

Oops, have to stay on topic. Remember bush fires, great stands of eucalyptus trees going up in huge fireballs when you think of avs for Australia.

'm not that animal wearing person ,don't get me wrong I do love animals but I saw this image and found it just good enough to make this avatar around . The story goes as that this dog tripped and fell down to his own stupidity. . So I thought lets place the roadrunner within the picture.. and then we all remember that funny cartoon..

So if somebody wants this avatar? Claim it and it's yours. .

I was wondering, when someone has the time, and if they can find it, I would like an avatar with the dog creature from the new Riddick movie. Especially if there is a picture out there that shows his blue eyes.

It's just so cool looking!

Hi chiefsmom,
I only found these two, if this little fella is what you were talking about.
I had to get Vin Diesel out of the picture, that's all...

Thank you!
Except now I don't know how to make it the whole background, so it will look right, like yours.

You're very welcome

Go to account: there paste this into avatar:

files.abovetopsecret.com... then click 'save'

Then go back to the picture you want, open it, and click on the green square.

There are instructions with pictures on how to do this on the first page of this thread.

Hi OB

I'll have a look at your avatar over the weekend
See if I can move the upper one down a bit and try to darken the lower for you.

Its like one of those, "When you see it...." meme's. I had to look at it for awhile. It doesn't help that the Chaparral is blended perfectly.

My husband is the opposite
It's his mission in life to 'make me tough'.....LOL
Or rather self-sufficient

We've been together 28 yrs. and have a small business
We travel about 10 months due to our business, which is a life not many can handle

Long story short, he was determined that I never end up like my Mom, a housewife who lost everything when my Dad died [I was 14] due to lack of job skills
So he's made sure that I can do everything and I mean everything on my own!!

He's older than I and now I shoulder most of the responsibilities
I can pull the trailers up/down the highways
I can change a tire in my sleep
I can hook up/unhook both trailers without any help
I set both trailers up/tear them down

Basically, I have been taught to the point where I don't need anyone

Anyhow, last year he had been riding my azz pretty much for 3-4 weeks non-stop
Finally I kinda laughed and said 'damn honey, it's been so long since you gave me a compliment, I wouldn't know how to act'
His reply was "It's my job to make you tough"....LMAO on that one!!! Such a romantic...*flutters eyes*

But no, he doesn't use silk gloves around me or worry about me getting hurt

It is Men's instinct however to protect Women, especially if they're petite
However, I have seen many petite women that can make a 6 ft. man cower!! LOL

He sounds like my father who is retired military man. Me and my little brother have done our share of hiking, fishing.. climbing etc. Hubby is opposite 6.5 tall guy who puts people to sleep by profession..grins, im 6.1 but been a tomboy all my life.
Hubby is romantic and im not.. Titanic was one of the most boring movies ever... i prefer action lol
