You can also paint in overlay and color dodge blend layers. If using color dodge layer blend, the colors needs to be strong.
In Ironman posters the effects with color shines are made with color dodge blend

Brings them in new level. Also with metallic renders cropping metal dents from images of crashed cars and feathering borders either using layer mask or just erasing using soft feathered lasso and using overlay layer makes action more real

I have dozens of images that fit that bill, but my skills for effects are limited and I would need help from Dolluka or BFFT. Let me go find a few and see if you like, ok?

I'm sure between Rainbow and I we can find an image you like. I found a few to get more of a feel of what you are looking for. Any color preferences? Certain elements you are looking for in the pic? I can do some animation effects, but I don't do background images.

I have a folder for avatars for myself for each month of the year. lol

Then those can be yours too.
