Rooney should have ended his goal drought twice this game.
The header was just unlucky but his last shot needed to be in the back of the net
Speak of the devil and he shall come! Congrats to rooney, very well deserved

I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrel either. His humor comes across as forced.
I like Adam Sandler and good old Billy Crystal.

It's funny because they all kinda came from the same SNL stock. Jim Carrey is another that I find more miss than hit, although there are a few of his that give me a good laugh by comparison. Most of the guys at work love Will Ferrel, shake their heads when I say I don't find him funny.

Love Adam Sandler, Billy Crystal definetely. But give me Dan Akroyd, Steve Martin, and of course tadaman's favourite, Bill Murray. Lost in the 80s I guess.

ETA: Sremmos, try this one, it's still not quite long enough to show everything properly. I know, perfectionist...

if you stretched the canvas on the .gif to be full avatar length, but set the additional pixels as clear, it would make the avy long enough to do its trick without having it stray into unwanted areas.

Tried that initially, it looked like a kindergarten painting and still wound up being over 100kbs.

I did a screen shot and cropped it, it gave me 200x320ish, which is still a bit small. I've tried extending it out to 200x350 to see if it will fit, but it's all guesswork really.

Doesn't help the animation program I'm using is about 15 years old....

Maybe dolluka would have more luck with that one.

Getting better, just getting well enough to travel half the country again. Looking at the weather though:

Where I am: Sunny 24 (75)degrees C.

Where I'm going: Windy with showers 14(57) degrees C.

Not looking forward to that one.

I have the 7 different flowers to put under me pillow tonight...let's see
if the magic you spoke about will work...LOL!

Hey guys didn't leave on purpose...after posting those avi's on Mon night
my computer cut itself off. Once in the past is was got over heated &
gave a warning so I shut it down. This was not the case & it wasn't real hot.
I waited a wee bit & turned it back on & all was fine for a while, then it
shut itself off again.

I waited a while & it would not come back on...nothing. Tue morning I tried
& it would not come back on...took battery out & replaced still would not come
back on... I took it to 2 different places & both said it was the mother board & they
would have to ship & fix for more than the cost of the computer, so I said no.

Tonight I thought well lets try one more time & it came on...
I don't know anything about computers, but here's a question...shouldn't I hear the
fan running? It's hard to hear with laundry going but I don't think I hear it...
Do you think that could be the problem?

If so I should be able to buy one & pop it in...
Thanks to All!

Cheers
Ektar

the power supply is dead and needs replacement.

If its the motherboard, someone with a skill can replace the dead capacitors. Good luck finding someone like that. Maybe an engineering student.

Even though it came on tonight? And there is no fan running?
Thanks!

I used to build boards many years ago but do not remember
much & have no tools. Chips can be removed easily & replaced...
as far as capacitors & not having a meter the only way to check
would be with the soldering iron to check for cold or weak solders.

I was kind of hoping maybe over heated...it was very hot in here
82 or so...I have no A/C & I always hear the fan kicking in here & there...
tonight I hear no fan...it is much cooler but even in the winter you still
hear the fan...

Cheers

the fan not running isn't such a good thing.

I am not familiar with your computer. On a desktop you typically have a power supply/fan unit. A power supply is fairly inexpensive on a desktop system. Laptops....they may even have an external supply with a separate on board fan.

IT repair guys tend to be snobbish, and won't bother fixing anything they deem "too old".

Yeah I replaced an internal power supply on the desk top
while on it's last leg...easy to do...Laptop I can see more difficulties
due to space issues...

Since the computer did finally come on (had not tried since Tue a.m.)
tonight & I definitely hear no fan, is why I'm thinking possibly over heated.
I will see someone tomorrow that works on computers & will ask them...
Earlier tonight they thought maybe a CPU chip under a very small fan,
not the cooling one.

Anyway glad I was able to post 3 new avatars before the crash & will be
looking forward to posting & working on more!

Cheers
Ektar
