I think I may owe you a debt of gratitude Zarni

My thanks

There are probably some ways around losing the sparkle depending on what effect you are going for.

I don't use PS, but if you post the original, full size sparkly images you want to use for frames, I can see if Animation Shop will handle it differently.

I typically create the frames in GIMP (as .png) then import them into Animation Shop.

GIMP is a big investment in time, and if you already have PhotoShop... don't worry about it. It shouldn't matter what program you use to make your individual frames.

I just wanted to see the original picture you had before making the animation to see if there was a way to produce the effects you wanted without the lossiness... I'll do it for you and then tell you how I did it

I was already downloading Gimp, but if it's the same as PS, then you are right, it's not worth it.

Here are the original images:

Thanks so much Zarni

I liked the original because it was gold and went well with the purple background, but after downsizing it , it turned yellow.

Hello,
Would you like to keep your current image or have another one in mind?
Also would you like to keep this size or have it larger like mine?
Just curious

Here is a virtual copy/paste of the original animated gif onto the background, although I had to reduce the overall size from 600X70 to 550X64 to get it under 50k and not pixelate and/or lose color.

Basically, I saved the purple background as .png in GIMP, then I opened up the .gif in Animation Shop, saved each individual frame, then pasted each one into the background in GIMP to make the new combined frames... then import each one into Animation Shop to create the animation.

The trick with using Animation Shop is to always save the individual frame files as .png in PS or GIMP prior to importing them.

I'm not sure that helps much, since we use different tools, but...

Hi,

Thanks for your swift response.
.

I'm definitely wanting a complete overhaul & since the format has changed so much since I've been less active on here I am having difficulty finding past avatars to upload...if they even exist anymore?

Larger would be great.

Long Blonde hair, green/blue eyes & water, sun (my demise), nature, energy, & circles were my themes before...I shifted to my dog when he became my best friend, lol, he still is but I am looking for something different now. Sorry if TMI...if I find the past images I'll edit

I'm sure I'll appreciate whatever someone comes up

I'm tired of looking at my plain old google image avatar

Can anyone help me create something along the lines of a white fox [preferably with a few tails] in a shadow of some sort with red torii in the background??

I would do it myself but I am limited on this mac that was given to me by a friend and it is devoid of any editing software. My appreciation would show no bounds and I will provide you with answers to any questions you may have regarding any topic.

My activity on ATS is becoming more so lately and I'd like something awesome to represent as an avatar.

Update-I might have found some useful software
