Sometimes I give "politically correct" responses and theories..
and crank up google like most people do and paste in
interesting links.. doesn't hurt to keep interesting links
in one's toolkit.

Yah..that large of a group "committing suicide" that
sounds totally bogus.

Now to throw a woo curve.. as I recall from reading..
when Uri Geller was tested at LNL, 2 of the scientists
became so freaked out.. with seeing the disembodied
hand chasing them around and what not, that they
both were talking about suicide.. and that was just
a very brief test/exposure to whatever...

Ufology is the study of disinformation and woo. Mostly disinformation.

The people who think that it is the study of unidentified flying objects are the
ones who have been 100% victimized.

If a big old "Star Trek type ship" landed on the Earth tomorrow, nobody would be
more surprised than the US government.

It's like in horror movies, when someone makes a joke out of "summoning the devil"
and "he actually appears".

But I sympathize. "Woo" is very annoying, even for those who study it.

I have little interest in Woo. But it does have its place.

The Marconi stuff is serious and it does appear to play a role in the Rendlesham business.

Nothing bogus re the scientists who died.

I know that it's the most logical premise that they were assassinated..
the hole in the arse of the one makes that most likely.

I somewhat doubt the "gubmint" assassinated them, but who knows?

Maybe there is a tech war going on with Russia over Terahertz something or other,
buoyant plasma whatever..

someone like Russia has no compunction about playing hardball.. I mean they do
'heart attack drugs / beams" and polonium poisoning apparently.

I don't know.. I haven't researched this.. and if I had.. I'd probably be guessing.

This is a Christmas story that will go on for ever more, (plenty of dollars still to be made) such a shame that all the main players are at each others throats and not forgetting the nasty little trolls that are attacking people that don't agree with their take on what happened.
I'm very surprised that even nick pope has slagged other researchers off, surly he should stay clear of all the mud slinging if he wants people to take him seriously.

I was intrigued by the coordinates from the binary download and looked them up.

It appears to be in the Atlantic Ocean off the southern west coast of Ireland.... hmm...

Wasn't there anAtlantis thread here that posited Atlantis was off the west coast of Ireland and that there was geological evidence of a major land slip into the ocean that may have been the demise of Atlantis?

The co-ordinates supposedly point to a mythical place called Hy Brasil.

However I'd say that a more fruitful journey would be to explore Jim Penniston's story from his witness statement to 2010 to see how it grew glyphs, sketches, and binary codes.

Seems Andrew's book is being withdrawn due to personal reasons. Lucky I have a copy I received for Xmas. It's another weighty tome like the Halt Perspective. Although it is more logically laid out and an easier read. It has also been updated to include some of the upgrades to the story in recent years since it was first published in 2005??

Well perhaps in the future it will become available once again. Re the Halt Perspective did that not come with crayons?

I made the mistake of getting the Kindle version of 'The Halt Perspective' and it's awful.

I probably should feed back to Amazon on this, because generally Kindle books are first class.

This one however? Missing images (borders only appearing), text chopped off (sentences and paragraphs very often going over a page and then disappearing), layout issues. It seems like an OCR has been used to convert the book to text and while it hasn't done a great job, it also hasn't been double-checked, proof-read or edited.

I got the 'door stop' version of the Halt Perspective. It's not a great book by any means. It's heavily padded out with too many 'lights in the sky' type reports that have nothing much to do with the RFI other than they were reported in the area. The spelling and grammar mistakes are sadly present in it as well. Even the RFI stuff is hard to follow as it jumps around the timeline and is difficult to follow.

In other news Colonel Halt has issued an email to the makers of the Heseltine/Warren "Capel Green" film project. He's issued a straight up statement.

"Do not use my name, do not use my memo and do not use my tape"

More than his "straight-up statement", he completely attacks the credibility of Larry Warren, who is going to be cursing up one helluva storm after he reads THAT Halt memo!

I once found the in-fighting quite amusing. But it has reached ridiculous levels in the last couple of years. Warren's latest claim is that he was PA for the Beach Boys during the 1970s. Not a bad job for a school kid.

His co-author has disowned him dismissing his story as partial fiction and the publishers of "Left at East Gate" have removed it from sale.
