On Christmas eve 1946, a young police officer named Hugh Wilson was working in Whitehall, London. An avid amateur photograph, he decided to spend a break experimenting with some night photography techniques he’d been working on. After snapping several photographs, he heard a jingling in the sky. He looked up and snapped the picture above. Experts have studied this photo, but have no explanation for the sleigh-like structure in the middle of the frame. Wilson maintained that the photo was authentic till his death in 1982.

More photos here.

You have to be joking. I will not accept any other answer, because I refuse to believe that you actually believe the story and pictures you've posted. It's a joke right? A little .. Ho Ho Ha Ha?

It's funny in its own way, I'll grant it that. But this isn't the Jokes forum.
Or has everyone else just agreed that the Aliens and UFOs forum is something to be mocked?
Guess I'll stop looking here for possibly useful information then..

Maybe he was real. Santa has to be dead now, devoured by the corporate monster.

This story has nothing to do with Aliens or UFO's.

Furthermore, this story is a HOAX. You can clearly see in the image that the dark colors of the sleigh and reindeer in the sky don't even match the dark colors of the rest of the photo, indicating that it was inserted and not color-corrected.

Secondly, nowhere on the entire internet does that image come up as being legit. And nowhere on the entire internet does "Hugh Wilson" exist as a police officer in 1946.

It is more than likely a made-up story for X-mas, but it's not real, and it's most-definitely not related to Aliens or UFO's in any way.

Great story! But watch out for that two-year old. I think you've got a future debunker there!

Oh for pete sake, so many folks here take themselves and the Alienz forum a little too seriously. I so rarely see something worthy of discussion come out of this forum (which i have marked as a favorite in my profile) that I may click on a link in the "MyATS" screen about once a month. VERY rarely do i make it to the end of a page before deciding I am wasting my time reading it.

Lighten up. Its the holiday season. And this is related in the most sublime of ways, still.

A very identifiable flying object

Yes...there really is a Santa Clause. As long as he lives in the hearts and minds of children...there will always BE a Santa Clause.
