Even if you do not believe in chopping up 'trees' or the commercialism or Christmas, there is something greater shown in this video. It's not about the tree, it's about how people are willing to GIVE (money, time, etc.) in order to make another person happy. People are still willing, to help out an unhappy stranger to make them happy!

Merry CHRIST-mass everyone. If you celebrate Christmas, remember what it is about, celebrating Charity - Giving to others as Jesus Christ taught and as Saint Nicholas demonstrated by giving coins to the poor back in his day.

It's probably staged. Even most Santas don't work for free anymore. I bet Santa even needs a permit to work in cities. A little green card possibly. Especially if he is a real Santa, because that makes him an illegal Alien without a Visa card.....Maybe a MasterCard will work

My wife and I live in a fairly poor area, although we are fine we are aware that others struggle.

Every Christmas we put a tree outside our apartment fully decorated with a note on it, the note says

"If you need me to cheer your Christmas please feel free to take me, and when you can, please pass me on to someone else that may need me"

Haven't yet had one not taken, but had a fair few very touching thank you's through the letter box

I personally hate the term Christmas Spirit, I wonder why people wait until a holiday represented by lies and misconceptions to be kind. People who won't even speak all year send their loving message in a pre-printed card, the whole thing I find distasteful and false.

I wouldn't argue this could be staged, but I do know people like those who stepped forward are out there. All anyone has to do is look at the millions and billions collected by charities every year, all year. It's a shame many of those charities are heartless, and not only take advantage of those monetary gifts, but also that very little of that money ever makes it to its intended recipients.

That's very nice..even if it is staged..I don't care.

I wanna say that yes... The Christmas holidays and the spirit of Christmas have lost a lot of it's meaning. And ya know...yes some people do just wait for the holidays to be nice and giving. And there are sure a lot of people who don't wait... And always help with what they can...

Having a positive mind and positive spirit is what is needed for all...all year round.

Don't focus on the negative.... If one focuses on just the negative of every holiday and not the positive... Well I feel that only hurts them and the people near them. Enjoy every moment we were given in this life...even if it's grief..it helps us grow stronger.... That's my opinion.

I try to give all year round and help when I can. And if I can't help with money..then I help with just my kindness.. Kindness and smiles sure go a long way in my eyes...

This season is about giving..and it doesn't have to just start or stop during this holiday season... It can be anytime. It's up to me and you to give love whenever you can.

SnF...
Oh and...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!

This season is about giving.

No it is not...so I choose to see it for what it is and that means embracing the facts. Negative.

It's always a beautiful thing when people help others. But... for 25 bucks, you could get a big artificial tree in great condition at a second hand store that would last for many years to come.

Wow... Why embrace the negative?? Is it helping you in any way??
There's different ways to look at things...and I choose to look at the positive.. If you fester in negative... Well in my opinion it helps nothing ....

I'm truly sorry you see this season as negative... Hope something positive happens for you... Smile..
I say things could forever and always be much worse... Embrace positive and love.
Peace to you char-lee ~~~>>>

I embrace truth, I believe in truth, I hate lies. I hate that people embrace lies instead of truth. This season is about large corporations making billions, while people beg, borrow and steal to give each other worthless crap.

Pretend does not make something so. This group of manipulated series of lies is very painful for many especially the poor who are made to believe they are worth less because they neither give nor receive.there are way more suicides during the "holiday" season.

My sisters husband just had all his tools stolen, most likely so the people can spend money on crap that sent money and jobs to China, people will stuff the crap in the garage or closet or throw it out in a matter of weeks or months.

I have love, but it is all year and it is not based on a lie nor comes and goes because of corporate shopping season.

If people wish to call something what it is not, I would love them to at least research and be clear about why they do things, what they follow and who it really benefits. No I don't think the way we display "love" during the "holidays" would make Jesus happy at all.

I know that corporations make any holiday about money.. I know this..
And I choose not to buy into it.. I promote love and kindness cause we are considered poor. And even though we are considered poor, I can still make gifts for my friends and family. And spend time with friends and family who I normally don't get to see...

Again.. Peace to you ~~>>

Try and make year round a time to speak and see loved ones and not because of a date. Try making gifts any old time and not about a date.
Peace to you also
