Why is it wrong to try to date prophetic events from the bible or other prophecies? It's because we live in one-dimensional time and the bible isn't written in one dimensional time but in multi-dimensional time. God (or the source of the prophecies) isn't in one dimensional time. It makes sense. Our minds can't follow multidimensional time. Kind of like in the book flatlander ... 2D flatlanders couldn't make sense of 3D visitors or their description of the 3D world.

Time moves forward for us.
But elsewhere it can move up and down and sideways and forwards and backwards.

The Error of One Dimensional Time

For good reason God Himself discourages us from making prophetic calendars out of our cerebral musings. It's a human being thinking his sand-dripping hourglass or sundial is as good as an atomic clock. Casting the calendar through human contrivance gets one bogged down in "might and power" that is not the authoritative revelation of God's Spirit. (Zechariah 4:6)

That revelation shows that time is even more intricate than Einstein's Relativity. Both the Old and New Testaments have distinct words for the two dimensions of time. The New Testament Greek word kronos refers to chronological time – the ticking of the clock, the seeping of the sand in an hourglass, the passage of solar radiance on a sundial. Kairos is the Greek word that signifies time on the scale of eternity. It is time unbounded by kronos, in which a day is as a thousand years. (2 Peter 3:8)

Multiple Time Dimensions - info

Moving on to ghostly phenomenon ... 'residual hauntings' .... are they psychic impressions left on our time line? Left because the events were so dramatic that they left an energetic impression?? OR is it actually the multi-time dimensional coming through? Or could it be either?? I'm wondering ...

The multiverse moves in more than one time. Some move faster and some slower and others 'move' in ways we have no clue of. Time is different in different dimensions and different universes.

Investigating whether time has more than one dimension.

Weinstein and Craig realized that a model in which the second time dimension was handled in a different way might work. Initially, they set it to zero and evolved their wave in the other dimensions of time and space. Then—to account for the extra time dimension—they stepped the initial time forward in the extra time dimension and found the data produced by the model was perfectly well-behaved.

Fun speculation - there are no paradox's in time travel because of multi-dimensional time

Hauntings always seem to have strong emotions attached, so maybe that is the catalyst needed to affect our dimension!

God is no time.
God is timeless being.
The eternal one is presence - no other 'time' has ever been known, seen or heard. All arises presently and there is no one who can prove otherwise. The one that speaks speaks presently and is heard presently.

Yet there is the 'concept' of time.

Its inner works, not outer literal events. But inner metaphoric ones, for our own upgrades. And this is why so much of it doesnt coincide with events, and even where events are mentioned its no different than using a well known term in a fiction story to illustrate a point, or if that event symbolizes certain aspects of life, it is also there for allegorical terms.

God... isn't in one dimensional time. Our minds can't follow multidimensional time.

Error.

Disclaimer: this post is not a critique of god, nor of the bible.

teleology, not to be confused with theology, is a very real part of the functioning of the human mind.

you plan to go to a christmas party next wednesday...
...you are going to make some cookies to bring along....
..you need ingredients, and so head to the store....
.....make the cookies....
.........take them to the party.

reductionist science is limited in its mathematics to defining that scenario in the time-->forward frame of reality. but what really happened was that your mind projected itself forward in time, traveling through a time domain perpendicular to the one-dimensional forward frame (you are perpendicular to it because you are able to examine its contents as though you are looking "down" on it), and navigating your way backwards through time in order to arrive at that particular destination. time-->backward causality is teleology.

the mind is incredibly proficient at this type of transformation. anyone, even scientists, would be silly to argue otherwise. unfortunately current scientific methods are unable to discuss it because according to empiricism and objectivism, causes can only happen from the usual low entropy -> high entropy (increasing entropy). there are some models to work with it, although they are fairly unpopular.

negentropy

advanced wave (negative valued) solutions of the klein-gordon equation

singularity as the teleological black-hole

Since nature means two things,
the matter and the form,
of which the latter is the end,

and since all the rest is for the sake of the end...

...the form must be the cause.

What if I told you that the past is happening now, and I can see it clearly in my mind ?

Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow. We are always time traveling but it is always now.

Time is often referred to in physics as the fourth dimension.

How can a dimension be one-dimensional?

Some confused thinking here.
