Last month was the warmest November since modern temperature record keeping began in 1880, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced today in its latest State of the Climate report, which summarizes climate-related news from around the world.
With a combined land and ocean surface temperature of 56.6 degrees Fahrenheit, November 2013 also was the 345th consecutive month – and the 37th November in a row – with a global temperature higher than the 20th century average, the NOAA report added.
Higher-than-average monthly temperatures were reported on nearly every continent around the world, including much of Europe and Asia, coastal Africa, Central America and central South America, as well as in the North Atlantic Ocean, southwest Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean.
Russia experienced its warmest November since national weather records began in 1891, as some parts of the country like Siberia and the Arctic islands in the Kara Sea recorded temperatures more than 14 Fahrenheit degrees higher than the monthly average.
Conway wrote about the potential importance of the uptick in eruptions: “While most scientists may readily dismiss any significance to the latest figures and may be quick to say the planet is just experiencing normal geological activity, it does raise other concerns about just what may be transpiring within the interior of our planet.”
Having 23 to 33 eruptions more than usual represents a potentially significant increase in the amount of ash and gases entering into Earth’s atmosphere. Some analysts believe the increase could lower global temperatures by 2 degrees Celsius or more, which could be enough to alter agricultural yields in key regions.
The thing is, people keep talking about mini Ice Age, but the stats just don't show it.
Blowback
what I notice ,, according to that map ,is most of all the areas that seem to be way above normal are in isolated areas that are more difficult to dispute because they are so remote,,the rest seem to be normal ,below or slightly above.....
notice they use term "near" instead of "normal" which most likely means they are below normal also...this the way these scammers like too hide this stuff....they don't lie ,,but they don't tell the whole truth either...not only that is doesn't even show the polar regions...now why could that be
they are running a scam for the money
NOAA / NASA was caught lying about this stuff before ....
