The advertising campaign is supported by a Lafayette, California-based organisation called Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.
The office tower, 7 World Trade Center, may have been destroyed in a controlled demolition, members of the organisation purport, rather than in a fire.
Frank Greening, a nuclear scientist who lives in Hamilton, Ontario, knows the people behind the organisation - truthers, as they are known - well. He first met them years ago.
Like them, he initially thought there was something more to the story of 9/11 than the US government let on. To him it seemed unlikely that a small group such as al-Qaeda could have pulled off such a monumental act of horror.
Are Canadians more sympathetic to anti-American conspiracy theories than Americans themselves?

Interesting read. As a Canadian and someone who has doubts about the official 9/11 narrative, I have one bone to pick and that is this statement:
"I think Canadians are more tolerant of conspiracy theories when it's anti-American,"
I don't agree with that sentiment at all. First of all, it presupposes that anyone who questions 9/11 is "anti-american" or that the conspiracy theorists are "anti-american". There are MANY patriotic Americans who love their country who have questions about 9/11. Questioning the OS in the U.S or anywhere else in the world is not some sort of barometer reading of how anti-american you are.

It's understandable that on the whole, by about 60%, average American Joe is unaware that there's a problem with the official story, but it's really quite reprehensible for those with full access to all the data and information to knowingly try to protect and guard the lie at the heart of it, and sell and promote the lie as historically accurate and authentic, which is hardly a patriotic or courageous act when you really think about it.
Some statistic-99.9% of Americans don't even know 9/11 truthers even exist! That statement is in whole, the entire reason truthers are looked at like a discarded paint can.
Not one shred of evidence yet condemn the entire American government, and every single citizen, in some pseudo fiction that the average 9 year old would laugh at.
I know life has passed you by, I know the ship came in-picked up everyone but you-everyone got a pot of gold-but you got a rock. I know how pathetic a life can be in which the only relevance is hiding behind a screen name and calling fine Americans, who love and support their country, murders and conspirators. Just think-it could be worse. Someday-somewhere-someone might confront you about your 'truth' to your face. Then what. Perhaps you can dive inside your monitor like Blondie got James Woods to do in Videodrome-you could hide in there forever! And the world would be a much better place!
