Video making it's way around about the future of drones, "Our Drone Future "
and the article "The terrifying video that reveals what a world policed by DRONES would look like"
Source
Explores the view and actions of a drone police state.

Mr Cornell said that in the near future, cities will use semi-autonomous drones for urban security. Human officers will monitor drone feeds remotely and data reports will be compiled about life below (pictured)

Here, the fictional drone investigates an area where it thinks might be a source of a problem. The drone can predict criminal activity in specific areas

After this headline, as shared on ATS "US Drone mistakes Wedding Convoy for Al Qaeda; 15 dead" - www.abovetopsecret.com...

UPDATE – 2:20 PM EST: It is now being reported by Reuters that a wedding convoy was mistaken for an al Qaeda convoy in a drone attack that killed fifteen people.

Mistakes that already happen when these armed machines patrol can make most anyone weary.

In real life the drones wouldn't get shot down by civilians they would just malfunction and land on someone's car.

If drones are weaponized and go mobile on U.S. soil, I highly doubt they will go without errors.

Drones are big cash revenue. Let's hope what they do succeed in turning out there is junk that doesn't work as mentioned, let is crash and burn itself.

Yeah, let it 'crash and burn' on top of the White House!!!

Harry Reid and Pelosi's house would do fine too

Cool video... but why would a drone be equipped with its own AI unit capable of disobeying orders? Not going to happen.

Good question.
Op article says

‘In the near future, cities use semi-autonomous drones for urban security. Human officers monitor drone feeds remotely, and data reports are displayed with a detailed HUD (heads up display) and communicated via a simulated human voice (designed to mitigate discomfort with sentient drone technology),’ he explained on YouTube.

‘While the drones operate independently, they are “guided" by the human monitors, who can suggest alternate mission plans and ask questions,’ he said.

Guessing they are slated to run on a pre crime determination program and act accordingly to it unless told not to by the human monitors? Not sure maybe one of our more familiar with the supposed planned protocol members might know. Either which way, ridiculous.

Looking more into it...

Drones will soon be able to perform targeted killing without the consultation of their human masters, working autonomously, coldly responding to a set of criteria…

Artificial Intelligence and Death by Drones: the Future of Warfare will be “Decided by Drones” not Humans

Drones are here to stay but everyone looks at the negative aspects of them but forget the positive aspects.
Drones are being developed to save drowning folk, delivery vehicles and to be honest If they reduce crime by helping the police why is this a bad thing?.
The video is cool but silly, they will not be able to disobey commands they are not going to be sentient programs which can dis obey the human controller.

This is what skynet is actually going to look like.

Im kind of thankful since the idea of being shredding by laser fire from arnold-bots is far more scary.

Drones will never be designed to kill without human verification. Especially not drones flying in U.S. airspace. And they will not be equipped with the ability to disobey commands either.

None of this is the real problem imo, the problem is that armed drones will be flying around the sky to begin with.

This is exactly how it will play out, criminal activities reported...send out a few drones to follow the perps home...then strip all financial assets off them for their crimes. New "business model" pending due to all the Western World Governments selling off all the public infrastructure to their pals = fines, rates, fee's, taxes and penalty based income system where they just take from you when you do something wrong.

The problem lies in that this new fine based economy ends up with you having to stay indoors and out of the way so as not to incur a penalty and that's the total control grid in place.
