HOLLYWOOD REVELATIONS Pt. 1: Watchmen and The New World Order

Hey all, I wanted to share a short film/doc I just made, wanted to see what you all thought, and I know there must be some “Watchmen” fans here.

Obviously , Hollywood has laid the plans out many times over throughout the years.. So we should really pay attention to the messages in most of them IMO. And imo Watchmen is one of the most if not the most telling film with regards to the NWO.

Could you explain your view a little more? I've seen the movie (it's not as good as the comic), and outside of the story line of life during the latter days of the Cold War I'm not seeing much.

Well the film was nicely done. Well edited and the sound track was good. All in all,if I were a video instructor, and you submitted this piece to me I would grade it with an A-. There might have been one or two sequences more which really jumped out and grabbed the viewer.

However the content was dull. Your choice of material seemed to me to be hackneyed. If the intent of the piece was to entertain it fell short of watching the movie. Anyone, no, just about everyone who watched that movie garnered messages and meaning behind the film itself. It was so chock full of symbolism and S/f speculation that it would be difficult not to.

So basically, it seems to me that what you have done is tie in this movie, hence Hollywood, into a warning message about TPTB and their plans to destroy the world. But, if the movie itself did that then why repeat what the movie was messaging?

You offer no hopeful or helpful message to counter the doom porn of the movie itself. And the references you use to tie in the PTB are sketchy at best.

I just watched this again for the 3rd time yesterday. There are a lot of parallels to society in this flick. I recommend it to all.

PS ie: "Superheros abound" Especially poignant? "Dr. Manhattan"

I disagree with the above critic of the video......I thought it was excellent ......As for countering the doom message ??

I don't see a convincing way to do it.....

I am starring and flagging everything. "Watchmen" was more than a comic and eventually movie, no matter my issues with the ending.
I think that it should be required reading for all students studying cold war history in order to get a glimpse into just how things were in the '80's...it wasn't as cool as Mtv made it out to be.

And yes, Ozymandius and Dr. Manhattan were dicks. But like they said, a few thousand compared to a few billion lives and the horrific consequences of all out nuclear war?
They could have had the "alien" land somewhere not so populated I guess...

No, the monster and the monstrous consequences of its death HAD to move the world so that the nations would unite in a fight against "otherdimensional dangers". There was no way around. Trust Ozy, he is the smartest man!

Man, have I read the heck out of those comics in the early nineties! No wonder it is in the Top 100 Novels of Times!
