Just curious, if there is nothing wrong with it, then why the need to clarify that you are not?

Well, I put in brackets at the end to clarify in the case someone may have mistakenly thought I should have meant (not being gay).

OK, I was throwing in a bit of Seinfeld.

Why do they do this, well that one with the death threats kept writing to me and asking me to alter my posts so I would put in more of a "you'd better do this or you go to hell, there are consequences, harshness, scare them into being good". Even Sleeper in his ufology threads did that after his good one about Ets are as real as the nose on your head, to the next big one, where it sounded like a military boot camp with bad guys ruling the roost, and we're all worms or something.

Because they get ya! And give you warnings and then you're supposed write it in the scarey smiting way...whether it be about metaphysics, ufology OR religions.

Why? Well its not for good, since it really messes with people's loving spirit and consciosuness they come in with where they really understand Love more. And course the world would be massively different if everyone used their soulstone Love stone knowing to pick and choose what they support.

Here is a good look at their game:

I want Good behavior too, but as you cling to your Love and express it, and shine it into this shadow realm and don't let them alter it. And really cloister around those who get traumatized here and slip up and help them back on their feet, with gentleness, understanding for their life circumstances, financial aid often and respect for them. Bang nearly all crime vanquished simply by doing that.

Not by running a slave, war, inequality, suffering hellzone and scaring people into smiting consequences and hell if you don't quietly go along with this. That serves a dark agenda of twisting souls and consciousness around. It makes Love evil.

And I'll never be quiet while I see it happening. Grab a bulhorn and shout truth from the mountains.
And if they write and threaten I tell the coffee's on man, come and grab a cup while I give the hero and zero lecture of your life. I don't shut up and I don't back down and I renounce/denounce your slave system forever to infinity and beyond, little boy who is not a man! Real men are good caring decent people who work for equality and love/peace and freedom, not enslavement. Those are slimy toads. And there is not threats they could give that would shut me up.

What do you think all the charity orgs and hospitals and other Christian orgs are all for? Whom do you think marshals large groups of people to muster to disaster zones to help out every time something nasty happens in this nation regardless of the faith of the people touched?

But ... no, we don't do anything to help people. Go on believing that.

First off, are YOU particularly involved with any of those organizations, and if so, are you doing all you possibly can to help? Because that is always the goto response from Christians when this point is brought up, but they always fail to mention what they are doing as Christians to end the evils in the world. And if you aren't even involved with any those things, I don't think you should be getting all high and mighty with me about what I said. Also while these organizations exist, there are other organizations masquerading under the name of Christianity doing more to spread evil than any of those organizations you named. We have organizations like the Westboro Baptist Church or anti-gay activists trying to persecute gay people. Where are the churches for the growing racial divide in the country? Reverend Al Sharpton always opens his big mouth for the slightest black injustice, but is always deafeningly silent when other races are slighted. Muslim hate has spread fast in this country within the past 12 years with no Christian word about stopping it. It has gotten so bad that idiot, Christian conservatives yell about the President possibly being a Muslim like it is unconstitutional or something (it's not).

Not to mention, if evil is on the rise in the world, what about the slave trades of the past? Segregation? Massacre and huge mistreatment of the Native Americans? That is just America. We also have the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Holocaust, there have been at least three world wars within the last few hundred years, nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (something I consider FAR more reprehensible then losing 3000 lives when some planes strike two buildings). Apartheid? All these things happened in our past with some causing more death and destruction than anything going on today.

In the end, humans are humans. There is no such thing as pure evil or pure good. Everyone is just different shades of gray and that shade may change at any moment in someone's life. This is the case now and has been the case since forever. The reason it is so easy to attribute signs of the times to Revelations is because if there is anything humanity in general is good at, it is subjugating and killing other humans. We aren't living in a time that is any more evil than before. Just humans thinking up new ways to be dicks to one another.

Today is like no other time in the history of this planet, when we take into consideration the magnitude a catastrophic event would have on humanity.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

I have found strength in myself and I know I am a good person. I have my independence and self- confidence as well. I am by far not a perfect human and I know what it is like to struggle day in and day out with my addictions in my life without God. He is my anchor and my guiding light. I know what its like to live thinking all my answers are in the bottom of a bottle. This is a relationship I prefer, not crave like a drug. It is easy to be with out faith. Keeping faith and sustaining my goal in life to become a better human is far harder than just living with out. It is too easy to not have faith. Just like its too easy to seek drugs and alcohol over self development and setting goals on how you want to live. I am not going to lie I was offended at the comparison of God and Alcohol and I am sorry you feel that way friend. Thank you for your input though.

You know, I have always thought Revelation had a tinge of Jesus coming into the world through the individual who works His "acts." Which would mean that the book would be metaphorical for the final experiences of what is commonly known as the "dark night of the soul."

Regardless, the world IS going to end at some point. New technologies are going to appear that will give us the ability to either destroy ourselves or prosper together, without much of a mixing of the two. I dont see much of a reason for God to become "involved" other than being a part of it all inherently.

All that said, I havent seen anything closer to the mark of the beast than electronic tattoos. Id say that gets pretty close to fulfilling the description, and time will tell how it is integrated into our society. I am sure they would be great for targeted advertisement (which is big biz now) in the real world, instead of only being relegated to online browsing.

It is inevitable.

Now here is the thing, regardless of whatever spiritual belief or religion your have embraced in your own life. What you think is a serious sin, for some its others homosexual identities, for some its women wearing whatever they please or nothing at all.....

The only thing that is serious sin is hurting another directly. ie, one should be able to live in this world without someone else raping, harming, murdering, stealing from them or even hatefilled verbal abuse. Real acts against someone.

All the other things that have to do with your personal choices, who you fall in love with, what you eat or drink or what world resources and seeds of the earth you do, are all personal choices and pertain to the other persons sovereign natures.

It is a sin to think you can dominate another person and force them to be whatever you want them to be. A major sin. It means you are now the dark side, you are now the antichrist, you are now Satan.

God is Love, its a school for everyone to grow up in. Certainly some behaviors are immoral and hurt someone, like say adultery. But then again, the worst sin is thinking you can own another person and they don't have freedom of choice themselves. Dicatatorship and ownership of people is by far the worst sin there is. Its equal to murder, except in some cases worse because ownership crimes can continue on for much longer whereas the other would be free from this hellzone world.

God is Love. You can't directly harm others. All the rest takes place inside you as you grow up and should occur in a Family supportive situation where others care enough to help one another.

The only Smiter that would like to come in and harm nations is not God, its the dark side.

Or that ancient man didn't have a concept of infinity and thought that all things naturally have a beginning and an end. None of those end times prophecies are similar so if one is correct the others are wrong. Why would God tell all these different religions different stories with only one being correct? That isn't very sporting.

My ignorance? Many who claim to be Christian are in name only. I was referring to the new birth via the spirit of God through Christ. Going to a church does not make me a Christian. I would be careful in calling others ignorant.

Is that some sort of veiled threat? I certainly don't think you are ignorant; just a little overcome with your own brand of zealotry.

With the arrival of transhumanism, we will be our own makers. "Human" will become a philosophical term, a quality ascribed to the mind.

I don't expect to meet any genuine deities any time soon.

Even if our planet is pelted with celestial debri, or volcanos and earthquakes destroy every living thing. It still wont prove the existence of god or denote any importance of any prophesy in the bible. Any sort of horible act could happen. Its a possibility. People prophesize about a billion scenarios a year. Its just likely that some of them will happen. Its not that hard to extrapolate the conditions we live in now and predict some logical outcome. When it happens, at least one person will stand up and shout " i knew that was going to happen ". But it doesn't mean a dmn thing. As far as israel becoming a state again? It was legislation. People made that happen because they wanted it to happen. They worked for years and years to make it happen just so they could point at it and say "i told you so".

I think this prophesy and predictions forum should be assimilated into the hoax bin. I thought we are supposed to deny ignorance by presenting evidence for our topics. How is this forum doing anything but propogating ignorance and handing the podium to people who cant do any research on the subject they are claiming knowledge of. This is saddest area on ats.

The only way to deny peoples ignorance is to display evidence for or against thier topic. There can be none of that in this forum.

You honestly think, that what happens in government is no more than pandering?

That the "religious" actually tell them what to do, that is pretty funny and uneducated in an of it self.

An honest "educated" look at US history proves one thing, "religion" is the last thing we have been fighting for, at least in the past 80-70 years.

Religion is the divisive element they hold up so the "educated" have someone to blame, just like the right holds up the "lib".

If your still buying into that whole divide, the last thing I would consider you is "educated".
