What about an AIDS vaccine? a malaria vaccine also? you think they would be bad also? saving millions of lives?
Vaccines save 5 million lives a year.
Smallpox was responsible for an estimated 300–500 million deaths during the 20th century guess what stopped it....vaccines.
Or do you want them to stop vaccinating so millions can die?

You speak in black and white concepts and you put words into peoples mouths that they did not say.

You make sensational statements , without true knowledge of the individuals involved in this debate.

You may look after the disabled , but so do many of us , that doesn't give us the total knowledge about this situation , only experience dealing with some of the outcomes.

Your not very good at bending what people say are you?

Anyone reading this thread can see that.

It becomes clear after a few posts what peoples agenda's really are , I will leave it up to them to read the thread and make up there own minds.

Got other things to do.

Either painkillers and sedatives are used to treat vaccine preventable diseases or they are not. Simple as that. You posted a link to drug war statistics which is citing painkillers, and then you say "Well the FDA approved those didn't they?"

You forgot to mention that out of every death 825 deaths were non-medical users of prescription drugs. *** That the FDA approved those drugs under certain dosages and conditions and the doctors, nor the government nor anyone else can control what people decide to abuse/misuse.

Unless you can provide examples of people banging MMR vaccines into their arms for fun, you really have no argument at all.

Facts have this nasty habit of undressing lies and hyperbole.

|| in conclusion ||

(Trying to remain on topic) The fact that the FDA has approved other drugs that people misuse/abuse and suffer the consequences, does not lay any foundation for the argument that they approve vaccines which they know cause autism, or any other deadly effects, and that this is somehow proof of vaccines being "evil". It is a moot argument.

If anything, it's this wild reaching that causes people to shun things which may actually help them long term. Remembering that at one point people were asking for cures, not throwing them in the trash because Jenny McCarthy thinks her kid caught something from a vaccine.

Answer the post then...do you want people to die from not getting vaccinated? do you want to stop research on an AIDS vaccine?
It is a simple question.

Now it is a Question , before it was an implication of an intent , which I did not have and I'm sure none of the other posters on this thread had.

What I am against is unsafe vaccines , one that deaths and disabilities have shown up later on from normal healthy children , that have their and their families lives devastated because its far to profitable to stop and investigate these problems.

If any vaccine can be given with no side effects , then I don't have an issue.

Everything has side effects to a small percentage of people. Peanuts kill a few people every year from severe anaphylactic shock. Should we ban peanuts? Stop selling them? Eradicate the trees?

Every drug and vaccine has a chance to harm to someone but you have to weigh up the pros and cons, just in the USA alone the MRR jab has stopped 52 million people getting Measles, saved countless numbers of men getting sterile from mumps and Rubella cases have dropped so pregnant women can have a child without congenital defects. Would it be more than the small amount of people effected by the actual vaccine?,

More than 500 million doses (way more by now) have been given since 1963 saving millions of lives.
Life is a risk but I would take a vaccine any day other getting one of these diseases.

I am not decrying the value of SAFE vaccines but the one's that are causing issues.

I got a job for you offer you services as a test subject , show them how much you support everything they put out.

I find this utterly bizarre because the three diseases one wanted one's children to get before school were measles, chickenpox and mumps. In fact if a family heard of a case of measles, everyone went round to ensure their child got the disease early and over with. We never heard of anyone dying from measles, only that it was a nasty disease, but with proper care one built up one's immunity against it. Now this was in the 1950's when we had hardly any of the health problems we seem to have in the medically enlightened days of 2013. The cases of asthma and various skin diseases were virtually unheard of. Today if you ask a teacher how many children have skin problems and asthma its a frightening percentage of children, yet the days of smog and the then recognised courses of bronchitis and asthma were still around until to3wns cleaned up the pollution of coal burning home fires.

I do believe there is a link between autism and the measles vaccine again, because autism is suddenly popping up everywhere and in varying degrees of affliction. I know the Doctor who advised of the vaccine's dangers has been professionally destroyed, but that's a weapon of drug companies and when vaccines eg. flu vaccines are flogged to my country and they don't work, I get miffed at the waste of tax payers money and the broken promise of protection from the flu.

Also have you seen what the side effects of statins are? scary reading but they keep people alive.
I would love for them to have no side effects at all, but at the moment we just don't have the tech to make them.

Yes well, if things continued that way everyone would be rounding up their teenagers for "genital herpes parties"… luckily medicine has advanced.

The same rational for purposely giving your kids chicken pox is the same that could be used for genital herpes. (Same virus family) The idea is that the immune system makes the infection less severe over time, so infecting them early on is the best way. And measles very similar, less complications for the actual disease if contracted early.

It does not mean this method is a great idea. People still have complications from all the diseases mentioned and infecting people at young ages does not always prevent later complications.

I would opt for a vaccine personally.

The type of thinking is really archaic though, if you really believe it I guess you can run around giving your kids cold sores thinking "well heck, the rate is so high nowadays, if they get it young they will have less breakouts later on."

(Also same virus family.)
edit on 9-12-2013 by boncho because: (no reason given)

*Note, you might think it's absurd but to anyone in a scientific background, the stigma of disease is far less engrained into them. Honestly, infecting your kids with chicken pox is no different than giving them an STD. For the people that love doom porn from anti-vax crowd, you can mull on that.

Happened here in the UK..until a couple of children died then all the parents were queuing up to get them vaccinated.
Scary that because of fear mongering people are not getting their kids vaccinated like we were when we was kids.
Whats next polio returning?

What children died?
I recall a bloke in his 30's dying but as for measles being the cause was inconclusive, due to his underlying condition.

174 cases in a country of millions is hardly cause for panic.
Sounds like scare mongering to me.

And the dangers of rubella are to pregnant women and the children in the womb.

SIDS!

Another 100% caused by inoculations 'disease'!

The 'medical' geniuses have got all kinds of 'remedies' to prevent children from dying from the NON-EXISTANT 'disease' referred to as SIDS.

What it is plain and simple... is an ADVERSE REACTION to inoculations!

Who has the numbers about how many deaths 'doctors' cause in their CRUSADE to cure a NON-EXISTANT disease?

(Leading cause of death... SUFFOCATION! Typically brought on by any kind vomiting. Because their DOGMA says kids suffocate from sleeping on their stomachs! (It causes this mysterious and spontaneous constriction in the throat.) They force kids to sleep on their backs... Often resorting to bundling!)

Anyone remember all of the insanity that caused with childrens bedding, etc...

Rather than LOOK IN THE MIRROR! That's right! You MURDERED that child! (with your inoculations).

"We couldn't POSSIBLY have killed that child with inoculations! They're safe! It must be this disease..."

Trust me when I tell you that you simply can't get the statistics regarding SIDS vs when the child was inoculated.

I guess the instant they hand you your 'medical' diploma... the STUPIDITY FAIRY comes along... and DING! You're suddenly TOTALLY BLIND as to statistical causation!

The stupidity is hilarious! The body count... NOT so much.

Sorry, Golemina- you are wrong on this one. SIDS has been with us since the beginning of recorded history. You will even find it described in the bible.
I have personal knowledge of a family members child dying of crib death who WAS NOT EVER given a vaccination, or shot, of any kind. extra DIV

jid.oxfordjournals.org...

Postinfectious encephalomyelitis (PIE) occurs in 13 per 1000 infected persons, usually 3–10 days after onset of rash [39, 131]. Higher rates of PIE due to measles occur in adolescents and adults than in school-aged children (table 2 [124, 132, 133]). PIE usually begins with the abrupt onset of new fever, seizures, altered mental status, and multifocal neurological signs [131, 134]. Although measles virus was found in cerebrovascular endothelial cells in a person who died during the first few days of rash [135], the virus usually is not found in the central nervous systems of persons with PIE. PIE appears to be caused by an abnormal immune response that affects myelin basic protein [61, 136]. As many as 25% of people with PIE due to measles die, and ∼33% of survivors have lifelong neurological sequelae, including severe retardation, motor impairment, blindness, and sometimes hemiparesis [39, 131].

Dr. Jefferson told Reuters,

“Immunization of very young children is not lent support by our findings. We recorded no convincing evidence that vaccines can reduce mortality, [hospital] admissions, serious complications and community transmission of influenza. In young children below the age of 2, we could find no evidence that the vaccine was different from a placebo.”[18]

Mercury, in the form of thimerosal, continues to be used in infant influenza vaccines. An important peer-reviewed study appearing in the June 2009 issue of Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry discovered a causal relationship between the amounts of mercury found in infant flu vaccines when administered to monkeys, and cellular toxicity resulting in mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired oxidative reduction activity and degeneration and death in neuronal and fetal cells.[20] These are all indicative signs found in some ASD. But health officials prefer to ignore such results. For the future health of American children, the study’s findings arrived at a bad time when a Harvard study reported that autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) had increased to 1 in 91 people compared to the earlier 1 in 150 estimate.

Push yourself away from the table laden with sugared cereals, candy bars, soda drinks, hydrolyzed fats, chlorinated/fluorinated acid water, yada, yada, yada...

And you will never have to find out the answer to that question.

It is no longer possible to push yourself away from the table of poison in America. You would have to stop buying any food from a grocery store, and grow your own.
Soil and air pollution would render your home-grown food toxic.
You could raise your own meat, but animal feed is also full of chemicals.
Only 'the fittest' will survive - or will they?

Vaccine fraud exposed: Measles and mumps making a huge comeback because vaccines are designed to fail, say Merck virologists

Disclaimer: I am not an opponent of the theory of inoculation. Nor am I opposed to science. What I am opposed to is fraudulent science, and that's what this article is all about.

Measles and mumps are making a huge comeback in the United States, but doctors and journalists all make the same critical error in understanding why. They blame "parents who don't vaccinate their kids" as the cause, but the real cause -- as revealed by whistleblowing scientists working for top vaccine manufacturers -- is that measles and mumps vaccines are designed to fail from the start.

Merck falsified its mumps vaccine efficacy results, say former employees.
Merck also added animal antibodies to blood samples to achieve more favorable test results, though it knew that the human immune system would never produce such antibodies, and that the antibodies created a laboratory testing scenario that "did not in any way correspond to, correlate with, or represent real life ... virus neutralization in vaccinated people," according to the complaint.
