That's the point my friend.. there are MANY pieces 'in one'.
That people don't understand that point is problematic.

It's like this:

sure, a mouse and an elephant are both "one".

but one can trample you and one can only make you run
for a humane trap or whatever. Or a hungry boa. However
you swing.

The points of view of "only one" and "there are two" are
both tremendously in error.

Reality does not conform to either of those crude categories.

One can be absolutely selfless, and Life will still flow.. Life
will continue to bend and turn and build and free and constrain.

And the 'buzz of unity' you get from being liberated does not
give unfettered access to all scenarios; it just gives the freedom
to tune into any scenario, and not be just locked into one
personality.

Being a mushroom head is not the end of the journey.. it's
the first step of the journey. It's the first step of human
adulthood.

But just like you can't argue with a drunk, you can't argue
with a mushroom head. Their one desire to be free is in
fact the thing which traps them --- it is the final golden
chain.

The willingness to be voluntarily trapped, if it is the way
the One flows breaks that golden chain.. and then you
once again have a use for that 2 pounds of meat in the
brainpan. It's there for a reason.

is not to just generate a false self to trap us into
suffering.

The brain speaks words and this gives the impression that there is someone in a cage.

when really, in all that we think we disagree on, we have already eternally agreed upon

What appears before you is not 'my material' - the appearance (the materialization) belongs to no one.

Since Reality is always and eternally perfect and complete, in its constant final condition, and since "our" relationship to it, to consciousness/intelligence/energy, is already and eternally in a state of perfect fruition, our only "spiritual" task is to NOTICE this actual state of affairs; AND IT HAPPENS THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE.

That is not what I believe or said - I did add a link to expand on what I wrote (I have put some points in this post to clarify).

I did not say that the only purpose of the brain is to delude - however, it is a side effect of words/language.

BUT... for "spirituality", inquiry into Reality, into our true condition, words/ideas are worse than useless. They are potentially our biggest impediment.

This is because we may tend to assume that the objects/actions which words refer to, ACTUALLY EXIST IN THE WAY THE WORDS THAT REFER TO THEM SEEM TO DEFINE THEM. That is, we may tend to view our experience as being actually made up of the objects and actions that the words we are using to describe it imply.

This is a fundamental mistake, due to the fact that ALL experience is in actuality an infinite, constantly changing, non-repeating, indefinable (in any final way), unpatterned field of miraculously appearing Radiantly Present "energies" existing nowhere else than IN experience, perceived by unknowable, miraculously appearing "consciousness". But our use of words implies that objects and actions may actually exist in the way we refer to them, as knowable, definable objectively existing "beings", "things" and "situations".

This is actually NOT the case.

So when you watched and listened to Lisa there was no jarring - true and clear. Then the mind adds the labels - 'New Age Guru' and 'Mushroom Head' - do these labels add or subtract anything from the experience of seeing and hearing Lisa?
