I can vouch for this. I used to live on Capitol Hill. I'd see Congressmen all the time drinking martinis and other drinks at lunch. Sad isn't
it?
Can someone give me a good source of alternative herbs? I want to try some but don't know where to get any. Thanks.

Salvia Divinorum, I would however research this herb first. It is legal but very powerfull. It is/was used for vision quest. I have a bag but only
used it like 2 this year. Not to be used like weed. It is great though.

Thanks jmilici....
I actually know about salvia. I was more thinking along the lines of the "legal weed" type stuff you find on the net or in mags like "High
Times". Thanks anyway though...I think I still might try salvia too. Thanks for the info.

Your welcome. I will give you a word of precaution about that "legal weed" stuff. I personally never used it but know people that have. I never
had gotten a good review about it. Basically they all said the same thing. Gave them hedaches, very harsh on the lungs and the high was more like a
headrush than a high. This is just word of mouth though. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out. Thing have been dry in my neck of the
woods(ohio) and wouldn't mind an alternate that was safe and worked.
Edit: spelling

Salvia D. is far from a weed substitute, concentrated extracts when smoked results in a short very powerful trip not a mellow high that weed produces.
THere are a bunch of legal buds you can order online and are availible at head shops, just search for legal smoking herbs/buds.
I know the best way to make it legal is to get hemp farming back bigtime in the US and the rest will follow.

I think even legalizing it wouldn't stop the drug Lords from growing and selling it. Why? Because in Canada, the governement already started to grow
some, for the people who are allowed to smoke because of medical condition, and from what I've read and heard, the stuff they grow is crap. The level
of THC is less than in most cannabis.

I would like to share a site that I have trusted and followed for quite some time and it has every answer to your questions about most phsycadelic
drugs including marijuana. This site is for those who look at pot as a bad thing and for those of you just wanting to know.
www.erowid.org...
look at that before you post another message just to help you out
and just a foot note, EVERYTHING is on that site about marijuana even the chemistry behind THC and the sinthetic version "marinol"

so i was broke and needed money for pot

hahaha that's my motivation for getting ajob! right now hahaha . MOTAvation. anyway.. I don't get why ciggarettes ,which cause many deaths a year
and alcohol which also has a lot of related deaths is legal, but pot which is less harmful than ciggs and alcohol isn't!! i know it's because the
govt. can make profit off of it but why must people have to pay with their lives!! ugh. and has anyone seen the sudden increase in those anti
marijuana commericals ?? they make bud seem extremely horrible and crap when coke ,heroin etc are much worse you can even die from doing heroin once
if yer not careful. but with weed how many people have died from too much? none!
oh yeah haha i like how you posted this topic at 4 20 am!

Correct, do not use Salvia for a recreational drug. Id suggest starting with herbs such as Lion's Tail (Wild Dagga) and Kava Kava that actually
produce a sort of pleasurable euphoria, not an intense power trip.

Ah I wish that people would educate themselves more before they comment on things they have no experience with. OK once again - there are different
types of Marijuana - every strain has a Different Potency (it depends on how well it is grown as well as plant genetics):
The 2 Main Genetics/Strain Types:
Indicia = Stoney Slacker Dopey High
Sativa = Speedy Cerebral Happy High
THC is the Active Psychoactive ingredient. Eating Marijuana or THC Pills is not really the same as Smoking it - Smoking it creates a chemical reaction
that results in the best High (i.e. actual THC Absorption).
Oh Yeah different people have different reactions to it too!

OH NO, BIG KODE RANT COMING ON
Oh please. I gave up. Don’t remind me. I dream about the stuff. Oh for a spliff. The outlawing of hemp marijuana cannabis whatever you want to call it
is criminal. The stuff has so many positive uses but is demonised. Alcohol is far worse, there are antidepressants that are far far far worse.
Cannabis doesn’t have to be smoked either you can eat it in cake drink it in tea. And what does it do? Makes most people very very happy. There are
those people of course that have a bad time with it and of course these are the cases which get highlighted for its demonisation.
Walking around like zombies? Yes this does occur i wont lie, but it doesn’t necessarily de-motivate. I can make my flat spotless and i mean spotless
within a couple of hours when im high. When im high im far more creative. I have driven while i was high and its true you are far more cautious. The
police in the UK even did some research into it and found stoned drivers were better then drivers who were not. But then driving under the
influence of any drug is wrong. I concentrate much more on tasks when im stoned and if i could get stoned while doing a stock check for instance i
think the manager would be extremely pleased when he found how quickly done and accurate it was. Oh by the way anyone who tells you cannabis will lead
to harder drugs is telling you the oldest lie in the books. LIE LIE LIE LIE.
I gave up 8 months ago. And i feel no different. What’s a real shame is i was content with cannabis but i had been arrested for it and fined. The next
time i got caught i may have faced imprisonment. And im not about to let that happen so the choice was simple. Now im drinking more and feeling low
for it. This never happened in all the 15 years i smoked cannabis. I really dislike people who stand against cannabis with all their ridiculous
excuses. It never harmed me or anyone else around me the only harm that was done was by those who stand against it, to me. Those people who demonised
it demonised me. They got me a criminal record and have sent thousands of people to prison [costing millions in tax payers money] who didn’t deserve
it, in my opinion. They got my mother to constantly nag at me about it which caused tension in the family. They lie. They lie about cannabis because
it has big industrial and medical implications. They lie because it causes people to be more creative. They lie LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE
LIE LIE. And THAT is far more criminal then having a joint. IMHO
I feel sick now. Because i feel so strongly about this. And i know what im talking about 15 YEARS i smoked pot and not ONE side effect. And for you
evil people out there thinking to yourselves "well when he gets THROAT CANCER he won’t feel so strongly". Let me tell you something
IT WAS MY CHOICE AND I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. R E S P O N S I B L E not V I C T I M.
I could go on and on but i wont i said this time time again.
Good luck with your plan by the way and don’t be surprised if the mods delete this thread.

Dont use amsterdam as a model because the Dutch are tired of all the drug tourists, and many wish they had never created the red light district and
lax cannabis laws.
Ironically the dutch youth dont use as many drugs as the british, spanish and swiss youth so go figure!

it seems if you want to stop ppl in your country from using drugs do what Holland did, because it has worked, statistically Dutch teenagers and the
Dutch youth are one of the least groups of drug consumers in Europe. Problem is that the Dutch have to deal with all the druggie tourists flocking to
their country.
The red light district is lawless, so i guess if your a Dutch kid whos heard and seen parts of the lawlessness of Amsterdam it would turn you off
drugs for good.

I’m not criticizing, but i love Amsterdam. And have been several times. I never noticed any lawlessness just people having a good time. It is seedy.
But no worse then the red light districts in other country’s, i have never seen any trouble when i have been there. You do get the odd stag party that
gets out of hand. Lately in Europe the meenies have been having their moan about everything. They seem determined to make it a problem and make
everyone believe that the majorities are against it. This is another lie. They take the views and concerns of a handful of people and then call it the
majority. This is what’s happening all over the western world today.
Christiania in Copenhagen Denmark is the place that often gets overlooked. Christiania was a barracks in Copenhagen where a bunch of biker/hippies
took over in the early 70's and pretty much made it their own. They have a market that sell's nothing else but varieties of marijuana, cannabis and
the paraphernalia that goes with it, you can buy as much dope as you like. It’s legal to smoke in christiania but not in public, the authorities do
not mind if you smoke it at home [Feeling gutted yet]. The biker/hippies who still live there today take care of the small community. Its
rough, but i never felt threatened when i have been there. The original christianians enjoy a good fight. Which they might not mention in the links
provided.
The free city of Christiania was founded on 26 September 1971 by a group of hippies who had settled in the barracks of Badmandsstraede, on the
Amager island in Copenhagen. The Danish Parliament (Folketing) legalized the city in 1989 and exempted the Christianians from laws on heritage and
environment conservation. In 1991, a local law made of Christiania a "free zone", open to all, car-free and placed under the responsibility of its
inhabitants. Christiania has officially 878 inhabitants, including 150 children. Each inhabitant of Christiania has to pay a monthly rent of 1,600
Danish crowns (215 euros) for electricity, heating, road maintenance, land tax, child-care center, kindergarten, leisure and other public
costs.
