Strange thing happened this morning. At dawn I was having a dream or nightmare I think. I was in a highrise apartment building when I heard one big boom. I saw red hot boulders flying up into the air. I instructed my mother and husband to get under the table. When they landed it shook the ground like an earthquake. It was a volcano but I have no idea where. Then another went off, same thing happened. When I looked out of my window I saw the sun go dim from reddish ash in the air. I descend the main stairs down to ground level because the elevators were not operable. When I get down to ground level I see I actually live on a beach. All the beach goers have huddled under our building for shelter. Once my feet are in the sand I see the waves getting bigger. I trample over people to get back to the stairs because I know whats coming. I climb 4-5 flights and the water comes crashing up under me as I hug the rails. I see the water freezing when it comes inland on the beach. I climb again about 4 flights and the next wave is higher and it turns into icy slush. Last time, several more flight of stairs and another bigger wave comes in. I make it back into my apartment and we have no electricity and expect to be stranded for a while. I woke up and immediately told my husband of the dream before I forget. I looked at my phone and saw 2 Alaskan earthquakes around the same time I had my dream. Freaky no? Since then there have been several more quakes. Are these quakes volcanic? I suspect they are.

As far as I know, EQ's of that magnitude are very common in that area.

Hopefully this is all there is for them, for the whole winter. I can't imagine anything more miserable than a destructive quake in the wintertime.
