These avatar threads have been fun for me, too.
I've gotten to know a lot of members this way....and a good time is usually had by all.

There will be more contests next year.....the first one likely for Valentine's Day

Thank you for the heads up as it will probably take me between
now & then to create something useful...LOL!

I've had a great time creating avatars and trying to learn PhotoShop at the same time, but most of all I've enjoyed the positive artistic attitudes and talents that everyone possesses here on this thread. I wish the best of the season to you all.

NICE! I'm a huge cat person, as in BIG cats. I used to work with
them & they will always be my favorite & have a special place in my heart.

The lighting is awesome! I hope I can get Bot Chick up tomorrow. Cody gave me some tips.
I had gotten 2 layers, both re-sized with a snow globe in her hand...I'm so new I don't
even know how I got that far nor remember what I did...but I had gotten stuck.

So hopefully tomorrow I can work it out just to post for fun & not let ALL those who
have helped & still helping me down. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone's work!

I will be honest, I feel weird around new people and it always takes me a bit to get to know someone. But you have that personality that it is easy to warm up to... I hope you stick around for a long time!

Your part of the family now. Its impossible to let family down.

BTW- Agarta made that cat a long long time ago. He is beautiful isn't he?

No I used the lasso tool on Santa images found on Google adjust color and smeared off the edges. Used a separate layer for shadow . Also used that for Santa's hat and glasses.

For better contrast I always copy the finished layer on top and multiply for better contrast but others can work sometimes too..

following some of his tutorials.

Cody Thanks for the night shift goodies! I better get started trying to
figure out Bot Chick before I get busy later. Grilling some Lamb, butternut squash,
mushrooms, & broccoli. My Border Collies & cat will get Raw Turkey Legs, & parrot gets
whatever wants.
Maybe I'll get lucky & be able to post my Christmas Robot.
