There was a disturbing post by a S. African sometime ago (last year?) that said the ANC or some other group was waiting for his death and then there would be something called the night of the long knives (machetes) against the whites.. I tried to find the thread but it did not pop up in the search feature.... maybe someone else would have better luck. Let us hope that thread proves wrong.

Because they're barbarians.

And who, exactly, would these 'barbarians' be?

What benefit is there in playing dumb?

Oh, I was just waiting for you to condemn yourself out of your own mouth. But you've done that anyway, so no worries!

He made the world a better place.

I have no doubt he was a great man to his people and had high intentions for us all but he didn't make the world a better place. He with the help of others gave the black man of South Africa the vote and he changed South African politics which is a great thing for South Africa.

I beg to differ. South Africa could, very easily, have torn itself to pieces in a horribly vicious civil war. The fact that it did not was almost entire down to Mandela.

Could have have done. Some White South Africans would argue that is happening to them right now in South Africa.

South Africa did change! IMO..only south Africa.

The SA Army would have split in two, it would have been a total disaster and there would have been a massive lake of blood. He stopped it from happening.

Not sure what you meant by that, but then what can I expect from someone who called black South Africans 'Barbarians'. Shame on you.

They call it "Uhuru" or the night of the long knives. Certain factions within the Marxist-Terrorist ANC government want all whites gone from South Africa and are willing to commit genocide. There has actually been a premptive action by the ANC through their proxies who are killing off South African farmers and their families, over 3000 to date.

Whether "Uhuru" is an urban myth or reality I guess will be proven or debunked in the near future. If I was still in South Africa right now, I would be armed to the teeth. I have seen what the ANC do to people when they are "motivated" in their racist hate filled rage. Necklacing is just one method, which as an aside I believe was dreamed up by Winnie Mandela, sometime before she was charged with rape of a minor(s), sacrificial double murder and we can't forget, 87 counts of fraud, embezzlement and extortion (but mandela pardoned her for that and made her minister of culture, go figure). A favorite method that is a little less dramatic is the panga, where they beat the person to death and of course, immolation via gasoline, even if the tire isn't available. I have seen sh*t that nightmares are made of, people strung up by the ankles in green-painted-black foliage (the colour of blood on leaves), disemboweled, their entrails and organs lying in the dirt, eyes removed, skinned plus more and hearts missing (we found the hearts later on a stove with 4 MLA terrorists, who are no longer part of this world).

I lived there for 4 years, worked for the SADF, Armscor and CI so I've seen a lot. If the situation in SA goes "south," I am not a gambling man, but I would bet the Canadian government does not offer sanctuary for SA whites, even if genocide begins. I am very worried for some of my friends down there, white, black, indian, asian, etc. Racial expression doesn't matter, people are generally just people regardless of their skin colour, but the ANC, MLA and those who follow terrorist motivations and ideals are simply animals that need to be put down.

Cheers - Dave

Very sad. He is on a short list of people who can endure the worst, and capture the attention of millions to show them best.

Unlike the privileged, pampered, Ideologues, we have today. Talking about something they nothing about and expecting us to listen and adhere.

Today the world lost a true hero and legend. I'm happy to be alive in this time to have witnessed a true living legend's heroism.

Bless you and rest in peace, dear Nelson Mandela.

I can't stop my eyes from weeping...

www.thenewamerican.com... is this what you were talking about?

Here is a brief sampling of the mountainous record documenting Mandela’s long, conspiratorial role in the South African Communist Party: • Among the evidence uncovered recently by Prof. Ellis are the official minutes of a secret 1982 SACP meeting at which veteran Party leader John Pule Motshabi explains to the comrades that Mandela has been a (secret) SACP member for two decades; • Rowley Israel Arenstein, a lawyer and leading SACP member since the 1930s, said that Mandela was chosen by the SACP to create Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), and Mandela was the SACP’s main instrument in “hijacking” the ANC and marginalizing its longtime leader and president Albert Lithuli, an opponent of the SACP’s program of “liberation” through armed struggle. • During the Rivonia Trial (October 1963-June 1964), Bruno Motolo, a black member of SACP, ANC and MK, provided devastating testimony of Mandela’s involvement in all three groups. Despite death threats, he later provided even more details in his memoir, Umkhonto we Sizwe: The Road to the Left; • Other prominent SACP members that have publicly identified Mandela as a fellow Communist include Paul Trewhela,3 Joe Matthews, Hilda Bernstein and Brian Bunting; • Paul Trewhela, an SACP member who was imprisoned (1964-1967) for his communist activities, and more recently assisted Prof. Ellis in his research in the archives of the Stasi (the KGB’s East German subsidiary), has said: “Mandela was indeed a member of the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party.” • During the Rivonia Trial, more than 10 documents in Mandela’s handwriting were introduced into evidence, totaling hundreds of pages. One, entitled, “How to be a good communist,” stated: “Under communist rule, South Africa will become a land of milk and honey… In our country the struggle of the oppressed masses is led by the South African Communist Party and inspired by its policies.” He also wrote: “The people of South Africa, led by the South African Communist Party, will destroy capitalist society and build in its place socialism.” • Mandela’s Rivonia documents also declared that “traitors and informers should be ruthlessly eliminated,” and he recommended “cutting off their noses” — among other barbarities — a tactic he had adopted from Algeria’s communist FLN terrorists and which he put into practice by MK; • Mandela did not deny writing the damning material, but merely attempted to explain it away by claiming they were notes he had taken down for study purposes; • A Rivonia trial surprise witness was Gerard Ludi, a top SACP member who was actually an infiltrator, Agent Q-018, for the Special Branch of the South African Police. Ludi provided detailed incriminatory evidence on the SACP’s leadership and illegal activities. He identified Mandela as “a top man in the central committee of the underground communist party.” Subsequent revelations have proven the reliability of Ludi’s testimony.

Some deaths really are a loss for humanity. Viscerally felt if only because we look around in real life and online only to see how much we still need them. A soul deserving of peace, thank-you, God rest you and keep you.

Because he stopped a civil war. Because he prevented a backlash against the Boers. Because he kept a nation together and moving forwards. Because he gave people hope instead of despair. Because he forgave the scum who used to run his country. Will that do? Or do you have some more ignorant comments to throw against the wall in the vain hope that they'll stick?

You have absolutely no idea what your talking about.

He was leading the MK, the militant aspect of the ANC and conducted bombings against such civilian targets such as railway stations and post offices killing many innocent people, including black women and children, who had nothing to do with the government.

There was more black on black violence during apartheid than white on black violence and this was led by Mandela even after he was sentenced to prison.

Here's some of the charges which he never disputed.

(a) the preparation, manufacture and use of explosives—for the purpose of committing acts of violence and destruction in the aforesaid Republic, (the preparation and manufacture of explosives, according to evidence submitted, included 210,000 hand grenades, 48,000 anti-personnel mines, 1,500 time devices, 144 tons of ammonium nitrate, 21.6 tons of aluminum powder and a ton of black powder);

(ii) Further acts of violence and destruction, (this includes 193 counts of terrorism committed between 1961 and 1963);

His life was a hardship but also inspirational for many.
He's been sick a long while now. And he had to put up with his ex-wife and her antics.
He's earned his rest. He's in a better place.

Well, I guess if one was a murdering satanist cum marxist and general IMF/World Bank/UN TOOL, HELL might be a "better place." What did George Burns say, to paraphrase I think it was, "I don't want to go to heaven, it would be boring, all my friends are in hell."

People die. The government will be happy when I am dead (as long as they can intercept the evidence I hold). I'm glad madela's dead, didn't come soon enough. I am so ef'ing tired of this mass media promoted bizzarro world where wrong is right and terrorists are heroes, and an honest man is kicked in the teeth while the scam artists in government, stocks and international banking steal everything, even if it's nailed down.

Cheers - Dave

Nelson Mandela was both a terrorist and great man of peace.
America had to use violence to create itself.
How else can any authoritarian regime be overthrown without losing half the population in sacrificial protests?
Yes, it's a complicated world.
Peace and freedom often seem mutually exclusive.
This is why we need the big stories be it myth or religion so our darker parts can be absolved enough to move ahead in life. I believe that self-divide is the most pervasive psychological problem facing people in the industrial world. Those who can represent that greater struggle in the real world like Mandela get elevated status and rightly so. Yet this creates it's own set of issues.

We have to stop exclusively adopting one side of the issue or the other.
Either you love him or you think he should have been hung long ago.
With everything in life they try to make us adopt extreme points of view.
It's how they control us.

Regarding South Africa yes, blacks are enjoying more freedom and access to capital yet at the same time the crime rates have shot through the roof. It was always a rough place but once the ANC took over____
whites are now treated as bad or worse than blacks were many years ago.

We would all have to walk a mile in his shoes to know and judge any man for that matter.
RIP.
May his life continue to press the cause of freedom and peace even in his absence.
May South Africa find itself before it destroys itself.
