Those are great things that was created for the masses to purchase. The printing of new money, the stagnation of old money, are all given to Wallstreet shareholders. They are pigs at a trough that produce nothing because you can't eat those pigs.

Rush Limbaugh makes disparaging comments about the Pope, is mad because priests are his main competition for young Dominican boys.

Any kind of petition to that drug addict would only feed his ego and make him think he is more important than he really is. Besides anyone who has read the words of Jesus and thinks he would support the capitalist system is an idiot.

I could say the same thing about being an idiot to anyone who has read the words of Jesus and thinks He would support a socialist system as being an idiot as well. Christ talked about personal charity and the goodness of freely giving to those who need help, but nowhere even remotely does He discuss any support for taking from your fellow man to give to another man whom you deem "more deserving." Nowhere does He support wealth redistribution. Again, this is an example of people seeing what they want to see to support their agenda.

Besides, we are supposed to have a secular government with separation of church and state, so what Christ may or may not have wanted really means nothing in terms of government.

You know very little about history huh? Back in the time of Jesus the Romans did provide for their poor citizens so he wouldn't complain about something that he supported. When Jesus told people like the rich to sell their things and give to the poor he was talking to people that were in charge because the only way you became wealthy back then was through theft and political connections. So he would support a Socialist system before a Capitalist one.

i do know it sure as hell wasn't Tesla.

Tesla was the man that came up with the AC that we currently use Edison wanted to stick with DC and lost to Tesla.

are oil companies dropping bombs all over the middle east?

And what did the warmongers tell Americans? The oil will help pay for the war. So the government is dropping the bombs for them.

I know quite a bit of history. Rome also had slavery...by your logic, Christ would support slavery. Again, you make an assumption that are not backed up by the facts. Show me where in the Bible any of his statements that go beyond individual charity.

rush Limbaugh is a fat drug addict, who makes his millions fear-mongering, and insulting people on the radio. he cares about himself, that's it.....the real problem are the millions of people that listen to his show and believes what he says. they don't speak into a microphone or in public, but how they act toward others, with the same attitude as rush, can have a negative affect on a lot of regular people just trying to live their lives.

He did not tell anyone what to do. He gave choices. Two. Heaven or Hell. "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life". All of His teachings directed us to have love and forgiveness for one another. You moneychangers can try to rewrite the meaning but it won't change the Truth. As the evidence is now in after 30 years of rampant greed and policies.

The Pope speaks of Marxist ideals.

If I earn 1 billion dollars I should not have to give it to anyone if I don't want to.

Without Capitalism we would still be using spears and living in animal skin tents. Investment creates opportunity and opportunity creates jobs and lifts the living standard for millions.

Marxism takes from those who earn and gives it to deadbeats who suck the economy dry leaving millions poor and hungry.

If there is a God, and I believe there is, he is certainly pissed off that the greedy refuse to share his bounty with ALL of humanity.

God’s bounty includes the technological ability we have today where if the PTB wanted to they could eliminate ALL extreme poverty and disease.

They rather continue spending wealth on wars, weapons of mass destruction and their independent acquisition of wealth through their acquired monopolies.

But no, they play this lie as if it is THEY and they alone and their independent ability of acquiring wealth that is sacrosanct.

NO ONE IS INDEPENDENT BUT GOD

The rich and those that support their philosophy of selfishness and greed are the enemies of humankind.

Hey, can I have your car? And can you send me some money?

I know, you don't want me to have your stuff.

All men are created equal, but they don't stay that way. God doesn't want you or me to covet our neighbors stuff, or steal from them what they have worked for, or inherited from those who worked hard for what they have.

The best thing one can do to better themselves is to work. Be educated enough to function in society. Use what God gave us to create and make new business opportunities.

the problem is, you're blaming the average joe for what the ptb are doing as if anyone would be able to get them to stop, considering they are multinationals, they could be anybody, including heads of state across the entire planet and multinational banks, some of which funded every war for the last 500 years or so. on top of that, because they are stealing from everyone and making everyone else foot the bill of any mistakes they make, you're also blaming the average joe for that as well. you don't make the patient better by socking the doctor in the eye, then booting him out of his office, refusing to let him have access to medicines or anything else that'd help the patient.

no it's a world that, given the correct laws, like anti monopoly laws for example, everyone has the opportunity to learn, achieve, and create the kind of place they would like to see. instead of a handful making choices for everyone else.

I can see your point but...

Are not laws a social creation? So there for wouldn't a country of laws would be considered socialistic?

Then there is still the point that anti-monoply laws are only effective if enforced upon all, rather than ignored by the corps and the government that they have bought.

that's why we don't blame it on people who want to carve out their own destiny, but rather, the people who use money or threats to get laws favoring such practices, into the books in the first place

i don't mind paying taxes to help others, however, some people do and they are left no choice. also, the taxes need to be reasonable and not so totally out of control that, out of fear of not getting enough funds to run an office the next year, they have to artifically create their usefulness. such an example is the thousands of innocent men who are in prison or on the sexual predators lists, who did nothing but get on the wrong side of a vindictive female, who then used the desire of lawmakers to prove they were doing their job by making it nearly impossible for a man to defend himself against such accusations.

sex crimes do happen but nowhere near the amount that is currently being listed due to some office needing to meet quotas to get their funding for the next year. their lives are totally ruined and many are pressured into pleading guilty because those who don't, get worse sentences. for example a first time offender who pleads guilty can get off the hook by doing community service, undergo senstivity training, and house arrest for the rest of their lives, not to mention having severe restrictions on where they go, or what they do. a first time offender who pleads not guilty almost invaribably goes to prison for 20 years.

and that's just one type of office and its connected legal branches. imagine all the fraud and waste, vs. the huge amount of taxes the gov pulls in every year and then sends out their little stooges to blame it on some poor hick in the mountains of kentucky because he is white, conservative or south of the mason dixon line.

And where is taking from one to give to another one of the choices presented?

"You moneychangers?" How stupid. I'm fairly certain I have given more to charity, in money, materiel, and service in the last decade than you have done in your entire life. Ever hear of operation smile?

What Christ encouraged, and I agree with, is personal giving and charity. What he did not encourage nor even mentioned, was socialism and wealth redistribution and coercive "charity." The selfish are not those who wish to keep the fruits of their labor. The thieves are not those who want to give to whom and how much and when they choose. The selfish thieves are those who want to take from one to give to another to satisfy their warped notions of "fairness" and "social justice" and they are every bit as hypocritical as the Pharisees and every bit as greedy as the moneychangers in the temple. They just cloak themselves in self righteousness which is even more disgusting.

C.S. Lewis talks about your ilk: “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”

No, we're operating from two different concepts of justice here.

On the one hand, you have social justice which is the side the Pope is on. Social justice thinks the law exists to try enforce equal outcomes on all. You can try it, and you will see that it is impossible. No matter how many laws you pass to try to lift up some at the expense of others, you always achieve two things - 1.) You intentionally hurt some to help others, and there will be some who will unintentionally gain or lose more than you intended for them to. In the end, you will still produce inequalities that will again have to be addressed by more laws. 2.) You create a system full of loopholes that will be exploited by anyone who can to get ahead. This also demands that you fix them with yet more laws.

On the other side, you have simple justice which only demands a simple set of laws that operate the same for all, treating all equally. This is the same was any board game with its rules. Under this system all are left to achieve or not within the rules of the system.

Today, we have a system that is much closer to the first than the second with all the inherit evils you see, and the Pope is openly advocating for more. We can see how well it's working out for us. Can't we?

Yes, big corps do lobby to have laws passed that leave open loopholes for them and squash their little competitors, and they lobby to have laws pass to make things "safe" for us, and too many of you fall in line because we need the government to keep us safe. You never realize that only the very, very large companies can ever hope to comply with the new rules, and all the time we have fewer and fewer competitors who can play in the market, fewer and fewer choices. Less and less freedom.
