Obamacare & Averting the 2nd Amendment, Gun Seizures.

A liberal conspiracy, food for thought.

Recently we've seen two states issue new gun control laws that allow those states to seize guns from individuals they deem illegal to own firearms. Some might say this is nothing to worry about, but the key to these states seizing firearms from individuals successfully bypassing the 2nd Amendment is the mental health angle.

Who wants a mental deficient person with a AR-15? However, the medical field has the HIPA laws to protect an individuals privacy, or does it?

What is mentally deficient? How many people on this board have anti-anxiety medicine? How many have medicine for ADD, or medicine for depression. Are you mentally deficient, in those states maybe you are.

How will our government bypass the HIPA laws? The easiest way is a National Healthcare program, with laws wrote in it for national defense, requiring doctors to report prescribing medicine to individuals. Maybe you didn't even want it, but you were prescribed, so you are deficient.

Add a national registry, which already exists due to reporting each firearm sold via the ATFs 4473 process, and anyone with mood altering drugs is going to be on a list for seizure in the near future. Some liberal states have license requirements to own firearms in the first place.

Gun confiscation is coming soon for some. It will gradually creep across this nation, until only the reddest red states have an armed population.

You have a solid point, and I fear you are predicting the future pretty accurately here. It is the gun control nuts easiest front to attack from.

Oh no....think larger and grander......with the new doc app for the smart phones that can take body vitals, the nsa tracking of cell data equaling real time ease dropping and gps tracking, and dna logging programs, intrusive surveys that link individual if not otherwise linked.....They systematically can create an entire image of us at whim, from what our current blood sugar count is, to what gas station we stopped at on the way to work, who we talked to in the parking lot before exiting the car, while reviewing our medical profile and history, income stats and employee records, to where we have to pick our child up after work and how many guns and toilets we have in our house......with the assistance of google and facebook, they then can start to link in all known associates and eventually link us to kevin bacon or some terrorist in new zealand.....so by doing all this, everyone at some point is a 'criminal' and just takes the desire of the powers to decide you need to be taken into custody......1984 has nothing on this new world.
