said, I don't follow Christianity because: a) I live in Oklahoma, where southern Baptists rule the land; b) I've had a bad experience with southern
Baptists c) I've had bad experiences with most Christians in general d) I don't like the general idea behind Christianity... when I break the Bible
down into what I see as the translation, god just sounds like a 6-year-old child. By that I mean, "Worship me or I shall banish you to the depths of
hell" translates to, "You won't do what I say, so I won't play with you anymore" in 6-Year-Old speak. I don't like following religious beliefs
that call for fear to be the leading emotion over the followers, which is what Christianity falls under, no matter how you slice it.
I guess you could label me as 50% Taoist, 50% Buddhist, 100% Jediist
Especially when your a 'Jew'. The baptists simply say that to be Jewishh is wrong. So what does that mean???
What is a Jew???
Is it an Israelite???
Where do you draw the line between the religious aspects of Judaism with the cultural aspects of being of Jewish decent???
If one has Jewish parents does that make them "wrong"???
Or is it the parents fault???
Really I don't get it. How is being Jewish wrong???
For it is passed down, just as all faiths are. That is my point. Is Judaism a faith???
I have been told it is so. Yet is it not a race as well???
Or is that just some lie???
How can races be wrong???
Sounds like your average baptist is prone to hierachical superiority. Yet, is that the teachings that the Lord intended to be passed down to his
creations???
If this is so, then most of the Bible is probably true.
Yet it is not. No God is capable of wrath. No God is capable of hate. Those are vices, and not virtues. Gods know no vices. They only knows virtue.
You See???
