EVERYONE knows that the aliens are wise to us. They disguised their ships as AIRPLANES. About a third of what you think are jets in the sky are actually UFOs that just LOOK like jets. They do this so they can cruise around at will and observe us without disturbing the humans.

They also land on buildings and watch at close range. In that case, the small drone units and one-eePZorg craft look like AC units.

The bigger ones are designed to look like water towers after they land. As a faux water tower, they can set down anywhere and no one notices them at all.
